OKAY. okay yes this is going to be. a long post probably yes okay. so. first of all ☝️ and most importantly ☝️ it was sosososo good i enjoyed it so much. i cried multiple times. i scratched and bit myself so hard i bled. i couldnt stop shaking during or afterwards etc etc yup normal reactions about it generally .

so. yes okay this was kind of my first introduction to shadow. as a character and my immediate reaction was just. 'wow this guy i so so so cool oh my god' and. yeah. aargahfgjg ofcourse the. family. scenes. all made me go crazy insane but i expected that of course. the running scene ☝️ and when they played 99 red balloons i went 🫵🫵🫵 damians song. yup . yes uaahhm the running joke of 'team sonic' made me giggle and also then yes cry later on. yup yeah uah all of the. action fighting scenes were so so so cool oh my god all of those shots were sickk yes oh my god the animation was generally just. so so so well done oh my god yes . uah knuckles jokes about like. 'a more impressive hedgehog' made me giggle yes OH SHADOWS MOTORCYCLE SCENE WAS. SO COOL OH MY GOD YES okay AND THEN STONE. MOTORCYCLE. AARGAHDHFGGGJFG yeah im normal about it why do you ask,, uaaahm robotniks. jntroduction in that movie was all. generally unexpected yup fhshfjf but. oh my god the stobotnik of it all. THE HAIR CUTTING SCENE. IM GOING SO INSANE. STONE WAS LITERALLY IN HIS LAP okay whatever im normal about them. ueah um. hmmmbrhdjggg jim carrey inception anf the. fourth wall break also made me giggle as well yes. um oh yeah the. mini black hole. happened yup yeah uahh ummm tom and maddie being so eager to help was. aargshfjgg. family. yes im normal normal about them . gggragdgghggf shadow is. so cool ouahfhgkgkgdgh um. STONE BEING JEALOUS. AND LEFT OUT :(((( i was. biting kind kf aggressivelu at the screen during that scene i dont know why. i ljike him :( :) aargshfjjggkgkggghhjfhgg sorry this is getting more and more incomprehensible . uahm. AND THEN. THE END CREDIT SCENES. AMY. METAL SONIC. AMMYYYYYYY 🫵🫵🫵🫵🫵 I POUNTED AT HER AGGRESSIVELY. A D SCREAMED. SHE LOOKS SO COOL IM. ARGAHFJTJGJG !!! YIPEEEE i saw her hammer and went. what. no way. THE PINK. yeah yup im normal and then. i stayed for the second end credit scene. obviously. i was the only person left in the theater and the people cleaning looked at me like i was insane BUT ☝️ SHA DOW !!!!!!! YES THE GUY. i ffffigured they wouldnt just. let him die like that not after. all that yknow but !!! still !!!! SHADOW YES !!! THE GUY ARGAHFJGJ

Hell yeah soulmates time!!

They’re very important to me… Not really romantic I don’t think but QPR of all time for sure (though I tend to add Cleo into the mix because GGG my beloveds <3 <3)

Already loved them in Last Life!! I haven’t watched either of their POVs, but even just from Cleo’s POV they seemed to work so well together and genuinely just enjoy spending time with one another :) Also the way Scott told Pearl when he was the Boogeyman and could feel when Pearl was it <3 I love both open trust and trust that chooses to be blind… + Scott choosing to give up on his life and go down to red instead of sacrificing his teammates! (I am trying SO hard to not make this about GGG sorry TT)

Then Double Life of course 💞 One thing to know about me is I looove unconventional soulmates – the perks of being aro, I suppose – so you BET I was eating the chosen soulmates plotline up, and you BET I was rooting for Pearl to take her revenge (even though I knew about the winner already). Messy platonic breakups? Yessir <3 Them being forced to work with each other and being passive-agressive about it... And the way Scott’s eventual sacrifice can be interpreted a million different ways (apology? redemption? washing off his hands? spite? mockery?) makes me go insane actually. Yeah guys give us The toxic doomed dynamic of all time and then just move on huh.

And then them reuniting in Wild Life and there’s always this underlying tension, this "are they going to betray me again?" both spoken and unspoken, but they don’t!! They stick with each other until the end!! And don’t get me started on their matching red hoodies 💞

All this to say. A tumultuous relationship for sure but that only makes it more interesting!! They have the potential to be doomed just like they have the potential to be healing! Friends to enemies to frenemies to awkward friends to friends again <3

(+ I love how the members of GGG flock to each other in so many seasons. Last Life, Double Life, Wild Life, even Real Life 😭 Fate has nothing on the pull between these three <3)

So like. I’ve watched Etho’s Double Life POV. But I must’ve zoned out during part of it because I feel like I don’t know them well enough to be fully invested X’) Which is not to say I’m not interested, I am! I absolutely see the dynamic and potential, and I’ve loved the fanart I’ve seen of them! But also I feel like I don’t appreciate them to their full potential?

With that being said, things I like about them as I see them: Joel’s immediate obsession with Etho (love that Bdubs & Impulse tried to convince Etho that Joel was badmouthing him behind his back while Joel had just shown him that he’d put his face on his chest. Normal behavior /pos), Joel’s bloodthirst and curse of early red pushing Etho to be a lot more aggressive than he’d usually be early in the game (their kill on Pearl? *chef’s kiss*), also their whole obsessed thing afterwards (Joel's reaction to Etho telling him I love you in SL... even whatever they've got going on on Hermitcraft (<- guy who just started watching Etho's S10 vids voice)

But yeah! Not one of my top ships, but one I enjoy seeing and would be happy to see more of :)

I’ll be real with you I mostly don’t feel like I know them well enough to think anything about them :( Like. I guess they’ve got the homewrecker thing that was kinda fun? And then they’ve got a cross-season thing with Bdubs killing Impulse in 3rd Life and Impulse getting his revenge in LimLife I think? But uh. That’s pretty much all I know?

And sure, I could go and watch their POVs to learn more but uh. Unfortunately I just. Don’t ljike Bdubs very much :( I’ve tried, I really have, but there’s just something about him that ticks me off… I also don’t know Impulse that well but it’s mostly just that I haven’t seen him that much in the POVs I’ve watched? I’ve been considering watching Gem’s SL POV to get to know him (along with Gem herself)? Might get to it someday

All this to say. I’m sure it’s a fun ship! But not my jam unfortunately 😔
