You told nothing but the truth and these clowns just read Red Robin and Batgirl and think they have the authority to speak about Tim and Stephanie’s relationship. In Batgirl it was written like Stephanie was right and everyone was wrong /rolls eyes. Everyone but her is infallible. They ignore that she treated Tim like garbage in Red Robin.
steph didn’t even tell tim that she went behind his back trying to reveal his identity and therefore betraying his trust. several issues later bruce reveals his real id to her and tim gets mad because he didnt want her to know because he wasnt ready, yet steph never apologized for going behind his back and it was just treated as this cute thing.
I’m not positive if these are the same person, given they were sent minutes apart, but I’m putting them together, because I’d rather not spam too much negativity since I feel like it’s a time we should all just be chill as we can given life’s circumstances at the moment.
Even the negative TimSteph post I made was for the purpose of settling some toxic stans, and hopefully stop such bullying I kept seeing happening because of a friggin’ ship/character. Cause I thought it was ridiculous.
As for Batgirl when I read it, I just thought it was really embarrassing. I haven’t yet finished the series while reading it fully, but that’s just because I got sick of it since it started feeling like every issue went the same way.
Steph gets crapped on a bit by a Bat-Family member, they make the other Bat-Family member look irrational in some way so you don’t pay attention even when they say some pretty fair stuff sometimes, she does something good, she earned their respect.
They also didn’t even write her right, started talking about hope, and they tried making her seem like an insecure awkward person when talking to boys-- when before she was cynical while doing it for an adrenaline rush and too confident for her own good, and hooked up with guys.

So they couldn’t even freaking write her right.
They acted like Babs might just be jealous of her, Dick is being hypocritical, and Tim is just a mean ex-boyfriend.
They didn’t even bother acknowledging the fact Steph got Tim blew up and disfigured, and I don’t even think that moment is in-character for her, but it’s very stupid to ignore the obvious just to have the victim in the situation seem like the irrational mean one.
It was so badly written, and forced. Like I think they were going for this big feminist thing, but it just comes across as pandering to her fans since the other characters don’t act right. It’s just badly written.

The whole thing about acting as if it’s okay to ignore all the obvious problems caused is just stupid. When you think about it from a character logic perspective, or at least what you can force out of it, it means she didn’t feel remorse for any of it.
She just started to care when Tim being upset about it became inconvenient for her, when she wanted to get back together again because she got what she wanted.
I’m pretty sure that isn’t what they meant for given how they play it, but if you wanted to apply some sense of logic that makes sense. That’s what it’d be.
I can’t think of anyway it actually works besides representing delusions or it just plain being toxic.
