I've managed to secure myself another job collecting unpaid tabs. Hopefully, this one won't end so poorly and I'll actually be able to earn a few caps. Vegas is right within my reach, and yet I fear I'll never gain access to it.

As I was familiarizing myself with my new family, I had been blessed with being able to share a few words with the man known as Arcade. Dearest Atom, forgive me for my forwardness, I couldn't help but caress his face when I met him. He is the perfect vessel and I promise no harm will come to him. Lucky for me, he's weak to compliments. I don't know what'd I do if I had to part ways with someone of his stature.

It took us an hour, but we've finally got all the bodies of my old coworkers piled up in the corner here. We must've also done something appealing to Atom, as well. I mean, just look at how those plasma rifles float ominously above them.

I've only known Arcade for a few days, but I can't shake the feeling that I've known him for much longer. Where have we met, Arcade? Did we know each other in another life? Or are you Atom reincarnated?

I will find out. We were destined to meet, and I will discover why, no matter how much you deflect my questions.

At one point in time, my compass had led me straight into Atom's irradiated embrace, and now it leads me North. This must be a sign. Why else would something so specific to religion be left alone in the desert? Bless me, Atom, as I travel forth toward Vegas. I will not disappoint.

Finally, a friendly local. I've been starting to miss the people back in Sloan. At least they had the decency to warn me of possible dangers. I think I'll go back to visit once I catch a break in my busy work schedule.
