I think the thing that's getting to me the most out of all the outfits tonight is how FEW people are wearing necklaces. Or jewelry in general, actually. Is this a dress code thing or are the celebrities just being boring again?

I dunno how well your energy levels would like it, but you may wanna look into stencils or fancy design paint rollers if you're gonna repaint in your house. Even if you just end up giving it a faux crown molding or something, it's a fairly cheap way to make your walls look fancy. (I've seen people with midcentry modern interiors even just freehand lots of stars and googies onto their walls, if that helps)

That’s a good thought!  I’ve got a TON of art that I want to frame and hang so I’m probably going to do that to make the walls look fance.  Since most of them are botanical art, I’m probably going to paint the wall a lighter version of the green that I use in every single one so that they match.

Also it’s a nice green and if I can’t have houseplants THANKS MOCHI I can at least have some artificial green.

The rose jelly is going well.

I don’t have any rosebushes to do this with, but out of curiosity, how does one make rose jelly?

Very easily! Take rose petals (from a garden, florists spray stuff on their flowers to keep them pretty and fresh), snip off the white bit at the bottom (it’s bitter) if it didn’t rain in the morning, rince them in cold water. Put them in a pan and cover with water, you want *just* enough water to cover them. bring to a gentle simmer and let cook for 10 min, or until the water is pink and the petals are all greyish. Discard the petals, weigh the rose water add 2/3 of that weigh in sugar and a teaspoon of lemon juice. Mix in agar-agar following the instruction on the packet. for 800ml I had to put the whole thing. I like agar-agar for the texture of the gel, but gelatin would work too. Put that back on the stove and let simmer for 10min, until the jelly is clear again and all the sugar has dissolved. Pour into a clean glass jar while hot, close it tight and invert to make a seal so it’ll keep better. Pour any leftover into some plain yogurt and scarf it down :> EDIT: if you don’t have access to a bajillion rosebushes or your rosebushes don’t produce flowers like there’s not tomorrow (grumpy rosebush is guilty of this and I love it for that), you can freeze the petals you do have until there’s enough for a batch. Or you know, you don’t have to make almost a liter of it.

tbh it kinda sounds like you just stepped on a hair. It’s not bad as long as you pull it out, but since a hair is so fine, that’ll probably be a bit of a pain

ooh i didn’t even know there was such a thing as a hair splinter! also ew and ow lol.

that seems more plausible than it being glass if there is still something in the toe.
