wip wednesday aka friday aka saturday three minutes from sunday

tagged by @wispstalk :) here is an excerpt of the current Long Thing I’m almost done working on, which is an extremely self-indulgent character study in which arabella, having been insane for the better part of a decade, picks a random place to sit down and declares “I’m going to be normal now.”

#no prizes for guessing how well it goes #arabella is so fucking fun to write man. I'm so obsessed with her #I'm in the middle of a summerfest piece atm in which at one point she tells someone 'I'd love to stay for dinner thank you!!!'#while inside her head she's going 'if the people trying to find me track me down to this location I will set this family home on fire #and use the ensuing chaos and resulting casualties as a distraction to escape'#at least it's not just a general traumagenic fear this time. someone is actually trying to find her. but even so #Hot Girl Shit I Guess #anyway #ty for the tag :) this monster piece will be done in probably not too long. a bit longer if I decide I want to do cover art
