This Rescue Dog And Baby Are Best Friends And We Can't Get Over It

Do you like friendships between babies and animals? Of course you do! You are a person with a heart. 

Well, here’s a good one for you. Nora is an English Pointer who was rescued seven years ago from an abusive situation by a woman named Elizabeth. Nora is still a little skittish but there is one thing she truly loves, Elizabeth’s youngest son Archie. 

The two of them are pretty much inseparable. When speaking with Bored Panda she said, “If Archie is having a bath, Nora is lying on the bath mat waiting for him to get out. If I’m nursing him she wants up on my lap, too.”

It was love at first sight.

Back from a shopping trip.

I’m going to let you in on a little secret. Archie may appear angelic on Instagram, but he isn’t always in real life -most specifically when we are grocery shopping. “Total Mayhem” are the best words I can use to describe the experience 😩. To save my sanity and avoid being permanently banished from our favourite grocery store, we’ve signed up for online shopping and home delivery with @saveonfoods. We’ve been doing this for the past month or so and it’s already a game changer. The food is always at the same prices as found in store. We opt for delivery for a small fee (first delivery is free!), but a no-fee pick up is also an option. I can’t say enough about how easy this service is and how much not having to physically enter the grocery store has improved our entire grocery shopping experience! DM if you’re looking to give online shopping with Save-On a try and need some pointers. I’m getting to be somewhat of a pro at this 😊. Save-On-Foods shops so you don’t have to! Just a quick check up.

I’m so happy that @instagram has chosen to focus this week’s #wwim16 on the theme of ‘kindness.’ Of all the lessons @aporius and I teach our kids, the main one we want them to retain is to BE KIND! Be it to people or animals, plants and our little insect friends – showing kindness to all living beings is expected of them at all times. That message is essentially the impetus behind our feed, really. People are intrinsically good. I wholeheartedly believe this to be true. Little reminders time and again don’t hurt, though, do they? Mama Nora and our new @AngelCare video monitor working in tandem to watch over Archie while he naps. Now I finally have the peace of mind to get to that long-overdue decluttering project in the basement (yay for me! 😂). His fever has broken and he’s feeling much better today. He’s worn out, but feeling much more himself!
