Izzy WAS part of blackbeard’s show, but after the murder, he gave a tip-off that framed stede in a bad light all because he didn’t like stede and ed together. But by the time he realized he was wrong, and that framing stede could mean the end for animated shows as they know it, he tried to right his wrongs but he got shot and “killed." But at the crux of the case, he comes back as a silly rubber-hose unicorn toon, having evidence of who the real perpetrator MIGHT be! he could still be wrong tho. he's got a pretty nasty bump (horn) on his head!

Buttons is a weird human, but thats because he’s not human! He’s actually a seagull who’s doing his best to make sure his buddy Stede stays alive! He’s got vital information he saw through his “bird’s eye view” hehe get it? Regardless he’s a force to be reckoned with as he knows more than he lets on.

Archie is chaos incarnate, a sort of satire spinoff toon of blackbeard and the gentleman’s shows but regardless is fun-lovin’ and is on stede’s side! of course having Jim as a crush doesn’t dissuade her from joining forces! she’s got artillery and looney weaponry all stored in her hammer space! she may look intimidating, but she’s actually a hollow-brained sweetheart 💝 (think rico from the penguins of Madagascar)

And finally Jim! i actually have way too many ideas for them. One of them being they had their own show that had multiple crossovers due to how popular it was, but stuck with the plot and ultimately got canceled due to the murder of |||||||||||| Used to hate stede, his gang, and his goofy ass show until they found family and friendship and love within the group and now does anything to protect that. Including aiding and abetting! you need a crime done criminally bad? call jim! they have weird morals 💪

My favourite thing in TRR is that Giovanni let them all keep their old uniforms. Maybe they would have refused to join if they couldn’t dress up like a pirate, a space man, and a gaudy priest respectively.
