Hesperiad: The Epistulae Pavonii and Selections From Domus Taurea

Set in an alternate-historical world inspired by Roman literature and politics, Hesperiad contains the two best-known texts of the Irenian-period, the Epistulae Pavonii and Domus Taurea, as well as scholarly commentary and translator's notes.

The Epistulae, written by Pavonia Irene herself as a young woman, is a record of her travel across the Moran Empire to her ill-fated wedding. Her letters also frequently allude to a turbulent period in Mora: on the one hand, a conspiracy between the sitting emperor and his family (in which Pavonia herself may be complicit), on the other hand, a scandal surrounding Pavonia's fiancé, Spurius Ardorius Palmatus. Yet amidst the turbulence, Pavonia enjoys a comfortable journey with her tutor, the court historian and poet Calamus, remarking on landmarks, monuments, and other wonders to the mysterious figure Sophia, her friend in the capital.

Domus Taurea, a fragmented satirical novel written by Calamus near the end of Irene's rule, offers a glimpse into life in the imperial house (the Domus Laurea). As her ambitious construction project expands, Irene - now the infamous empress - hosts a series of lavish dinner parties at which her close friends and guests are alternately entertained and terrified by the stories they exchange. Meanwhile, outside the walls of the Domus, Mora is ravaged by fire, pestilence, and popular uproar.

God i think i dont remember all but their previous lore was a bit different and from my pov i know them for 5 yrs the "updated" lore is a bit off-putting but not really sure why. Also tf was called tobias foxtrot and not.... felix?? Ill never accept the felix i really dunno what happened there. Also yeah no shipping name... my friend and i call it twistedgraves but some call it lucky shot or something and yeah, theres A LOT of content especially here and at some point I reblogged it and im sure i reblogged all tg content i could find on here through the yrs but sadly i havent tagged all ;-;

  Alot of content disapperead when tumblr hat a mental breakdown and its so sad tbh.... yeah the name change is kind of weird -- I guess they really wanted to double down on the luck theme? but 'tobias foxtrot' rolls off the tongue better and also is waaay funnier to me, so I'm sort of making it a half headcanon for myself that felix is just his middle name. good ol’ lucky toby foxtrot lol

Made two new characters in ESO recently, the twin brother and sister, Nivalion and Ardoria. They were both members of a daedric cult before Ardoria decided to not only escape the cult their father was leading, but also destroy it. In her attempts to escape, Nivalion was badly injured and the two were separated. Nivalion was found by some monks from a Zenithar temple in Nibenay and once he awoke he realized that he had no memories. The cult, their escape and his sister were all gone. Determined to find who the face he does not recognize in the mirror belongs to, he is set off to travel Cyrodiil in search of an answer. He constantly wears the mask and refuses to be seen without it and in his spare time, helps the people as a mercenary and monster hunter. Ardoria is looking to find her brother as well and she too never takes off her mask because she is a master at disguise and has always concealed her true face. These two’s whole deal will be that I’ll never reveal their faces, even ingame in ESO!
