ARMO PRIDE 4 LYFE~ LIKE TOTEZ

I'm getting really emotional right now, you guys. Typical me tbh~ I stopped going to my Armenian saturday classes about 2/3 yrs ago and I've forgotten a lot of the things I learned. I obvoiusly can still speak/write/read in Armenian, but I've forgotten about the grammer, stories, myths, kings & queens, gods, and all that stuff. how rude and pathetic of me tbh. listening to Komitas rn and getting emotional omgggg I've never been to Armenia and that makes me so sad. I can't wait til the day that I do! I've noticed that I've got a lot of Armenian influences in my work lately. I'm going to take that further and try to incorporate more from my culture in my future work. Can't wait for the next 4 and a half months bc i'll be on break from school and I'll be able to do personal work. This is probably the longest post I've posted on tumblr omg. 

Maybe I'm just upset that people aren't familiar with my culture and all its beauty and genius. Wow, gonna cry. Not gonna lie. I just wish it was represented more instead of hearing idiots say stupid stereotypes like "armenians are hairy." Like, lets talk about how beautiful ancient armenian architecture is and how incredible our textile designs are. ok this is too long. i think i'm done. 

oh and also, i better be like super famous later. Definitely want to show the world our culture thru my work so~~~~~~~ here's to hoping I become famous! pray for me. thanx.
