Just to introduce myself!
Hi I'm Sian (pronounced 'Sharn', or you can just call me Barns if it's easier I don't mind)! 🍂
I'm an illustrator and I've been drawing and creating my own original characters since I was young. I'll be mainly posting my characters and fanart :) 🎨
I'm about to study illustration at university and I'm so excited for all the new things I can learn. I already know that I aspire to be a graphic novelist (with my own characters) or concept artist for characters! I'm really looking forward to finding out what other fields of profession I will love and explore. ✍️
Thanks for reading!

Intro time 😁 - My name is Lauren. You may know me from when I used to make @bitsymermaid dollies🧜‍♀️🧜‍♂️ I decided to retire my shop when I knew we were expecting our third child👶🏼 I would spend all day being a mommy to my two older children, at the time they were 3 and 4, and then spend all night until I went to sleep sewing together mermie dollies. It was AMAZING😁 and exhausting😪. Since retiring my shop I have been running around with all 3 kids👦🏼👧🏼👶🏼 by day 🌞 and have started painting again, and other artsy things, at night when they're asleep⛼🌚 Being home 🏡 all day with the kids definitely has its perks, and its drawbacks. So, one thing I've really gotten into in the last couple of years, houseplants 🌱. Since most of my time is spent at home. One: for the beauty of the tropical foliage Two: the satisfaction of keeping something alive that can't back sass me 😂 And Three: Since any major vacations are out of the question for the foreseeable future, it's like I'm bringing the vacation to me! So, most of my work lately is tropical foliage/ houseplant related and it makes me happy 😊. I don't have a studio per se, so I posted up my easel in the middle of my kitchen for now. It's pushed against the wall during the day and then I pull it out to work on at night. The drawback to being a full time mommy and part time art-er is it takes about 1000% longer to finish a pieces🤷🏼‍♀️🤣, but I'm in no rush anyway. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my intro! #intro #artintro #artist #art #purplehair #fantasyhair #aboutme #about (at Wading River, New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/BrdzIGpHmuz/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=3qdd7bleizvm

Part A:Research for paper
Divided into 3 periods:
Early Byzantine (c. 330–750) Middle Byzantine (c. 850–1204) Late Byzantine (c. 1261–1453)
Includes part of Italy, Middle East, Asia, Slavic world, and North Africa
Byzantine empire is centered around Constantinople

Byzantine art was spread by trade and conquest with Italy and Sicily and also with Russia
Many people during this period farmed, poorer people fought in army
Motifs were inspired by religious figures, foliage, geometric designs
The Byzantine Empire influenced many cultures, primarily due to its role in shaping Christian Orthodoxy.
