A photo from today. It was my dear friend's birthday and we spent it all together, we had a tower of pancakes for breakfast plus lots of fruit. When everyone was gone, I put myself to work. I'm currently working on a one-page comic for the Watkins Books magazine and to be honest I am not feeling particularly productive or inspired to make comics. I am not in the mood for drawing inside boxes, I really really want to explore different ways of drawing. For this reason I think I'm not going to take more comic book commissions, for the time being.

For some things I'm not being too hard on myself, too; I know I am going through a hard time and definitely I need to be soft with myself. I deserve it very much.

Yesterday I also bought some new flowers - white carnations this time. Now the room is so much lighter somehow. Here are some things I'm planning on doing in the next two weeks since I am getting some girly girl time: - spending more time out (go to a deer park in London, sitting in nature and draw); - painting/building some furniture; - seeing friends if possible; - taking lots of care of myself: salt baths, body lotions, little hair trim; - watching silly movies until I fall asleep (I absolutely need to make a list) and have pizza on my bed; - try to go for a run; - read more in the evening - I have tons of books and comics I need to finish; - get a canvas and paint with the new easel; - work more on the MA book; - studying.

Oh, also trying to take more care of my bedroom. I am thinking of ordering new sheets from Urban Outfitters and some more plants ❤
