Pikes Peak Ave.⁠ Colorado Springs, CO⁠ 🔷⁠ "Do I have to pay to get in?"⁠ Nope! PPZF is a free event!⁠ 🔶⁠ "Do I have to be vaxxed or wear a mask?"⁠ We're not requiring proof of vax, but masks will be needed to enter. We'll have extra masks and hand sani near the entrance.⁠ 🔷⁠ "Can I bring zines to trade?"⁠ Yes! Some exhibitors may be up for trading, so it's always good to ask. This bitch got sick cuz i got really tired :D

I didn't go to school today because of it. I was really bisy yesterday with the design for the booth for artsmonth, got dragged into helping with costumes for our two fashion show representatives and stayed in the hot grounds for a long ass time to support said representatives

But it was worth the headache i woke up to

I watched the first set of plays in the 7th Drama Festival at Koronadal National Comprehensive High School's Audio Visual Room. This year’s theme is ‘"4teen: Explore, Expose, Experience." The plays were "Ang Lihim ni Faisal," "Pagduduwaya," and "Haram." The 7th Drama Festival is organized by Apat Sa Taglamig Production Inc. Apat sa Taglamig Stage Play Production is an organization which managed to stage original one-act plays in the province of South Cotabato. It aims to create art awareness and appreciation through producing stage plays. The 7th Drama Festival is one of the activities for the Arts Month celebration of South Cotabato. The annual celebration of National Arts Month started with the signing of Presidential Proclamation 683, in 1991, declaring February as National Arts Month. Over the years, NCCA, as well as private and government agencies, has been organizing events and activities to highlight the artistic brilliance of the Filipinos. Art Share 5.0: Ken Hensly

Since it was the National Arts Month last February, CAMVAS held art activities and one of those is the Art Share program!

2 Great Artists were present during the fantastic Art Share 5.0 program at CIT-U. One of them was Ken Hensly.

A Cebu based artist from the Philippines. His creative process started as a child growing up in a family of fellow artists. His main source of influence comes from old comics, cartoons, anime and street design. His craft is 2 pronged, ranging from toons and parodies to surrealistic art marked by his keen sense of detail and deep thought.

While you were probably getting creative and philosophical off that recreational this past 4-20th 🔥👀🌿, Amir was reminding people how the creativity in schools that serve the Black communities were being neglected but, that’s about to change now!
