Also love that both Allura and Keyleth's reactions to poking Ashton's magic/essence/energies is shaky breath and perturbed stare followed by "What the fuck are you? And by what miracle are you even functioning? Also the vast powers sleeping within you freak me the fuck out."

New addition to Rockin' It
BEWARE THE MAJOR SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 76
Greatest Weapon (Greatest Fear)
Allura takes her measure of Ashton Greymoore. Basically a companion piece to What's Been Done
When Allura has the genasi’s consent to take their measure, she’s expecting the power similar yet different from the artifact Bells Hells has presented.
It’s easy enough to skim past the surface of it. And terrifying.
What the Whispered One brought to Vasselheim was an empty, dead body, more a walking fortress than a well of elemental earthen might. Undeniably destructive, though, in its limited capacity. This, however, is such a well of elemental power, and it is alive. Dormant, thankfully, as they’d said. But if such power were to roll over in its sleep, much less awaken… Well. Immensity like that cannot move without being felt by the smaller things around it. To set even one such force in motion, let alone two, as has been proposed, could be a great boon to their cause. Or backfire horribly.
One could consider it the terrible curse of arcanists that she wants to prod such things into motion, simply to behold them, to study them, to see what would happen. Even as her common sense screams against the danger it would incur. And danger to far more than just herself, at that. It is, after all, the kind of power that could easily turn an entire city into a crater if it were recklessly unleashed.
Then Allura brushes against an entirely different power. One only unfamiliar to her in that she has not had much chance to study it, and truthfully, even those who have barely understand it.
Dunamancy. Showing her possibility after possibility. Peace, battle, conversation, massacre, creation, destruction, betrayal, triumph, truce. Every turn of what might happen in Percival’s workshop flashing by, centered on they who hold this power.
