Boyfriend dilemma; Peter Quill x teen reader

Here is yet another Peter Quill x teen reader, this one will be a lot more fluffier than the previous one cause it doesn’t really have any triggers unless you wanna count swearing as a trigger, other than that no warnings really.  Enjoy my lovelies :)

We were making our daily stop at Xandar to refuel the Milano as well as to give some updates to the NOVA core about what all has happened in the galaxy, if any threats have come towards the planet or to send out information of new trade routes that can help Xandar's expenses and goods. Plus my dad aka the Famous "Star Lord" wanted to trade out some sort of tool that he and Drax found on our latest trip a few miles before you hit Knowhere to the dealer on Xandar.  

And as always I was stuck guarding the ship.  

I swear my dad can be so overprotective sometimes and it drives me INSANE!!!!!  

But sometimes on the plus side, I always get a little visitor for just a few moments before Star Lord comes barging in with his egoistical head of his.  

I heard a knock from the Milano.

"Who's there?" I questioned playfully.  

"Let me in". His voice rang through the doors.  

"No I'm just a poor defenseless half Terrain spare me!"  

"Well let me in or I'll—"  

"Yes?"  

"Or I'll huff and puff and blow the—" I opened the doors to reveal my boyfriend (bf's/n) and laughed saying.  

"Seriously the Big Bad Wolf reference? You'll huff and puff".  

"I couldn't think of anything else to say".  

"Oh so you'd thought you'd destroy the Milano with the power of your breath?" I teased. We both grinned and kissed each other lovingly.  

My father doesn't approve of him and I dating because of a tiny little problem.  

(Bf's/n) is a half Kree.  

But he's not nor has he ever been a descendant nor follower of Ronan.  

But my father is still pissed at the fact that my boyfriend is half Kree and could seek revenge should he want to for him and the team killing one of their own.  

"Well that case could be made" I said as we parted. He opened his mouth and laughed accusingly at my little flirty hint but I shushed him and said. "My dad could be heading back here any moment, you know he doesn't allow anyone into the Milano".  

"You mean he doesn't approve of me on the Milano". 

"That's what I meant". I stated solemnly as I took his hand and played with his fingers.  

"You've got to get away from him".  

"I know, anywhere. I'm tired of all his stupid rules, and I feel like I don't contribute to the team except being the secretary".  

"Well you know I can find work anywhere in the galaxy". He offered. His invitation to let me go with him and we'd work together doing something good for the galaxy.  

"You'd leave everyone you know? You would do that for me?"  

"I'd do anything for you". He said as he stared at me longingly. I smiled at him and pecked his lips softly and teased.  

"You better watch out, your Kree justice is slipping". He smiled and kissed me back. I wrapped my arms around him deepening our kiss when I heard the devil speak himself.  

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE!?!?" We separated from each other and I cried out.  

"Dad!"  

"Why is he here (y/n) you know he isn't allowed on this ship!?" My dad yelled at me then turned daggers towards my boyfriend and said. "And you! You better get off my ship in three seconds or I'll take one of Rocket's Hadron Enforcer the blast you out!" At that threat (bf's/n) took off running as far as he could from the ship.  

Okay now I was pissed.  

"WHAT THE HELL DAD!?!?"  

"Oh no don't you turn this on me young lady! You know how I feel about that boy and yet you still disobeyed me by bringing him onto the ship!"  

"For god sake's dad he is NOT Ronan! When are you ever going to get that through your head!"  

"I'll get it through my head when you stop behaving like a baby! You know I only think about what's best for you!"  

"NO YOU DON'T! YOU ONLY EVER THINK ABOUT YOURSELF! I WISH YOU WEREN'T MY FATHER NO WONDER WHY MOM LEFT YOU!!!!" I then stormed off away from him and ran into my room and locked my door leaving my father stunned and in shock.  

Peter sighed heavily and sat down at one of the chairs placing his face into his hands.  

"Looks like you screwed up this time Quill" Rocket stated.  

"Yes thank you Rocket, damn it what have I done?" Peter sighed deeply and continued, "was I wrong? Or was I just being stupid".  

"I am Groot". Groot said.  

"You said it Groot, you're both". Rocket said again. Peter sighed deeply then Gamora appeared and said.  

"Peter, I know because of Ronan we don't quite trust any of the Kree, but this boy seems really important to (y/n) and he hasn't done anything but love her. And you shouldn't let this destroy your relationship with your daughter". Peter looked at the green skinned ex-assassin then Drax came forward and said.  

"You are an honorable father Quill, you try to protect your daughter from getting her heart broken, but it seems her heart will break if you break apart her relationship. I know myself because my daughter once did this to me, but when I saw how happy the boy made her I could accept it only if I could keep seeing that bright smile on her face. For he made her glow more brighter than any star in the galaxy. Go to her, fix this up before it's too late". Drax placed his hand gently on Peter's shoulder and nodded.  

Peter looked at his team then followed their advice and went to my room to try and patch things up.  

I was lying on my bed softly crying into my pillows when I heard a soft knock at my door.  

"Whoever it is go away!" I choked out.  

"Baby girl, it's me." My dad's voice came from the other side of the door.  

"What do you want?" I sneered but still upset as I wiped away my tears.  

"Look I just wanna talk, can I come in?"  

"I don't wanna see you!"  

"Come on sweetheart, you know how crazy I am about you. And if you want you don't even have to look at me, you can open the door with your eyes close". I rolled my eyes at his old childish impulses into making me calm down.  

And they still work, curse his own childish attitude.  

I opened the door with my hand over my eyes.  

"See now that wasn't so bad was it?" I heard him walk in and shut the door behind him and he guided me towards my bed and sat me down then I felt the bed dip as he sat down next to me. "Can you open your beautiful (e/c) eyes for me baby girl?" 

I hesitated for a brief moment then lowered my hand down and looked at him. 

"There's my girl" He softly stroked away a stray hair from my face and wiped away my tear stains as he said. "Listen sweetheart, when your mother dropped you here at the Milano 16 years ago, I was scared to death. I couldn't even handle myself let alone another baby, but the minute I held you I knew. I knew that you were my little miracle. And 16 years later you grew up into such beautiful young woman that I took the liberty of circling a date".  

"Dad please don't....." I said as he took out a mini calendar and he said.  

"No really, look at it". I took it from his hand and looked at the date.  

My 18th birthday.  

"It's my 18th birthday". He nodded softly and said.  

"That's going to be the worst day of my life. Because I'll know that you're no longer that little baby I held in my arms all those years ago, and the fact that that one man's going to come up to me and ask me for your hand in marriage one of those days after that, and I won't know if I'll be able to let go. Because I love you, and never think that I don't. Because you're the only girl I'll always love no matter what happens".  

I looked at him with fresh tears in my eyes.  

I leaned against him and embraced him tightly as I sobbed into his chest and he smiled and held me close to him.  

"Daddy I didn't mean any of those things I said!" I sobbed out.  

"Oh sweetheart, shh it's okay, shhh" I looked up at him and continued to sob out.  

"I wouldn't want anyone else to be my father". I leaned up against him as he rubbed my back and said.  

"Well that's good because you are my only daughter". He kissed my head gingerly then said. "And hey, if (bf's/n) makes you happy, then I'll suck it up and allow you both to be together. Because there is nothing in this world that would make my happier than seeing your beautiful smile everyday, and I would do anything to keep that smile on our face". I smiled at my dad and nuzzled into his chest as he held me close and rocked me back and forth like a baby while softly humming "Ooh-Ooh Child".
