Excuse me? What's an artfight???

Artfight is an art trade game! It happens every year in July and each year has a new theme with two teams :D In order to earn points for your team, you have to draw someone's character(s) from the other team! The team that earns the most points wins 👑

Here's an example of how it goes:

Team A wants points for their own team, so they create art of Team B's character— This drawing is called an Attack in artfight!

Team B receives the Attack and wants to get even more points, so they complete the art trade by drawing Team A's character — this is called a Revenge!

And if Team A draws another picture in response to the Revenge, this starts a Revenge Chain! A revenge chain is like a long art trade among 1 or more artists, and the longer the chain, the more points is earned for both sides

You can even draw Attacks of OCs on the same team as you— this is called a Friendly Fire! You still earn points for your team, but it's only a veeeery small amount

That's about the general stuff of it!!! Some people do both Attacks & Revenges, some people only Attack or only Revenge, others do Friendly Fires while some don't— it's up to you how you wanna play! :) Artists at every skill level can participate in Artfight

I like doing this event as a way to experiment with my art and just to have some fun!

I booted up my old laptop and while the performance aint hot and poppin........ it gets shit DONE (4GB RAM vs the 16GB RAM on the laptop battery that kept trolling me)

and by shit i just mean drawing & playing deltarune. that's literally my only necessities rn

im SO GLAD i never threw my old laptop away..... i kept it to the side cuz i was like "well u technically STILL WORK– its just i had plans that u woulnt be able to handle without crashing, like multitasking, gaming streams, etc"

Also, the troll laptop still works. It chooses whether it wants to charge or not, BUT i have it to wear it could charge consistently...... but it only charges if its on the floor for some reason.

so ive just been flip-flopping between laptops lol
