Sustaining a daily practice takes creativity and surrender From today, I will be sharing a bit of my practice with you. Some stuff I have learned through the years in my own mat. The main thing is that yoga is a mental and emotional state and that reflects in our bodies. So first thing is to become the witness and be present with whatever is. The art of radical acceptance of the present moment also means having to tools to move in the without expectations- only gratitude. The videos go from basic to advance. All is therapy for upper body. When the periphery hurts, there is usually a call for balance in the core. This is highly metaphorical since Yôga is a holistic science and art and adresses all our dimensions as human beings. How to practice through obstacles? Sustaining a daily practice through the years demands creativity. Today my right hand hurts. Do I skip practice? No way. Actually, this is the day to learn more about patience and humility. So I made 5 videos for you- finding ways around the pain and yet, doing the best we can. Come join me in my classes, workshops and intensives and I will share with you more creative ways to move through the ups and downs of life- not only physically but most important of all, in open attitude of exploration and curiosity. I am so grateful to be able to travel the world and meet wonderful human beings, full of creativity and integrity. When I accept to travel to a venue, it’s only because I completely trust my hosts- the same way they used to trust me when I was hosting them in my shala in Costa Rica. Mallorca será mi última parada en España 🇪🇸 para cerrar el #ashtanginiworldtour Muy agradecida con todos mis colegas y amigos por esta oportunidad de promocionar #ashtanginiofficial y conectar el método del #ashtanga con iniciativas de bienestar social. El yoga es una preparación para ser agentes de cambio en nuestras vidas y enfocarnos en las causas en que creemos. En Mallorca el retiro se llama Camino al Despertar, un poderoso momento en nuestras vidas para recapitular que hemos cultivado hasta ahora y hacia adonde queremos caminar en el futuro.
