This year was Asialink Sketchwalk event at Bandung, Indonesia. The event was cancelled due to the pandemic where travel restriction is still in-place. Sketchers have turned to virtual sketching as a turn around and met up online via zoom.

Haven’t been really productive sketching-wise since arriving at Taichung... felt like I’ve lost my sketching mojo. Maybe I’m just tired. Day 9 of #28daychallenge during P2HA2. Theme: All Things Beautiful For today’s challenge, I added color to the piece I sketched during #ALSWHanoi2019, but didn’t manage to finish ‘cos of a major ink spill. Hanoi, to me is one of the most sketchable cities in the world, especially the Old Quarter, where everything is either rustically gorgeous or gorgeously rustic. Or both. There is just an energy about it, which I attribute it to the very industrious yet friendly people. And not to mention, the Food! 😋 Unfortunately I didn’t get to do a lot of sketches during that trip due to responsibilities. Stumbled upon the Japanese Literary Museum. What a gorgeous and serene compound. Wished we’d come here to sketch earlier.

Had to go back to pack and leave, so did a quick 15 min sketch.
