Which languages can you speak?

Thank you for the ask Jen! I speak 4 languages.

I'm from a state called Gujarat in India.

So I speak Gujarati (which is my native language).

I also speak Hindi (it's the national language of India).

I speak English as well.

I also speak French (it's been a while since I learnt it & I've sort of lost practice, but I'm working on regaining that)

It’s Beas nice ask day!

So my question for you; When you hear “treat yo self” what is the first thing that comes to mind for how you “treat yo self”

I treat myself to small things often. "Treat yo self," I say to myself as I sit down for a nice dinner (my "nice" is like $25-$30; I'm not talking like Michelin-star or anything) or order takeout after a rough day. "Treat yo self," I say as I press check out on Etsy or Redbubble. Or a new book. Or theater tickets. (They're out of rush tickets but have $79 box seats? Treat yo self! Klena returning to the Rouge again? Treat yo self to his first night back!) Things like that.

wait! how do i not know about gay uncles day is a thing?!?!

That's because it's mostly abandoned! It started as a cute little fluff piece upom my discovery of Gay Uncles Day on the "daily holiday" calendar. The boys are visiting the London family, and just being adorable uncles to Ellie, Philip’s oldest, and also Charlie, Bea's adopted/foster teen. I wrote a few pages and then realized it wasn't going anywhere. I may use pieces for other works, though!

My favorite scene in of fathers and sons was probably the conversation between Henry and Emma where he's trying to decide what to call Oscar and lands on "family." But also Henry FaceTiming with Bea.

In March Book Club, it's the first scene with Henry and June’s book club where she demands to know his proposal ideas, or the proposal itself.

Ahh, yay, thank you, @14carrotghoul !

A lot changed from my original idea outline for Fiercest Protector! Just went looking for it.

I didn't scrap any written scenes, but the ideas for each "thing" changed a few times, especially the +1 - I was originally going to have the sisters together when the boys took care of them but that didn't feel right so it got canned. Bea's parts didn't change as drastically as June's did, which is funny because I think about June more than I think about Bea (probably because the book is Alex’s POV so we see June more).

Hmmm. Possibly the holiday series in general, but also Fiercest Protector because the sisters mean so much to me.

9. Which idea came to me first for "of fathers and sons"?

That one was written mostly chronological, but the idea of Henry bonding with Oscsr over food was first and then the framework came after.

10. What is something people may not know about "of fathers and sons"?

While the prompt was from @orchidscript , the idea came from @soshesighs ! Also the graphic that went along with it went through a few different iterations, including originally having a pic of the outside of the shelter, before I thought it better to stick with the cooking theme.

I answered 1 already- I said the holiday series holds a special place in my heart but also Fiercest Protector might be my favorite.

2 for Christmas Visit- my favorite scene was Ellie climbing up into Alex's lap to tell him about the ghost. I like the dynamics there and the relationship between this little princess and Uncle Alex.

7 for Fiercest Protector- this one didn't have a big array of characters to choose from, but it was fun writing Oscar!

9 for "talking about feelings is a sapphic cliche" (damn that's a long title!) - the whole thing stemmed from June telling Nora she didn't want to have kids of her own because she already raised one. So that's the idea that came to me first.
