So dan joined twitter around may 2009 and the same day he created his account he replied to three tweets by phil and it got me thinking.. did dan make a twitter account simply to interact with phil and get his attention?😓😫😫😫

I fear people have no idea how much money it costs to produce tours and high quality recordings and pay your staff an equitable wage. I also would prefer for everything to not be behind a paywall, but we know in the past they’ve shared for free on YouTube after, which means they’re likely doing this to make back the cost of the money they’ve fronted to produce it!

I find it so funny the way people respond to the sponsorships bc it’s like did you have a problem with them being paid by the BBC? Did you have a problem with them being paid by Google when the YT revenue was higher? What, now that you can clearly see who is subsidising their work that’s suddenly unethical?

Complaints about the lack of catering to their global audience and falsely creating hope is absolutely worth calling them out and feeling frustrated & upset over, and I wish the conversation could stay focussed there to give that issue a stronger voice rather than raising everything as an issue, especially things that are completely industry standard.

Putting content that will have costs thousands of pounds to produce plus a livestream/Q&A behind a (probably temporary) paywall is not exploitative. In a lot of ways the outrage here about having to pay for a service is dismissive of the work of all the people other than dnp who will have worked many many hours to put this content and the tour together. Yes fuck capitalism but also people deserve fair subsidising of their time & labour lol

can I just say I don’t think Dan and phil have ever had sex and I’m being so serious when I say this. I’ve said this before to other people and was asked if I’m trolling but seriously think about it. People talk and theorize about that part of their lives but they’ve never really said anything that could lead me to thinking that they have (or do??) and I think it’s crazy that it’s so widely accepted as fact. If they have before (in the far past) I certaintly don’t think they’d do it now. I get the vday vid proof but honestly even then who’s to say that was referencing sex?? I don’t think they’d do that (or even kiss.. different conversation for a different day) so close to the first time they met. If they did I doubt it was before the vday video

do you not think they’re together at all after dan confirmed they are a normal gay couple in the wad interview and everything he said in big? because otherwise what is your mental process here. two men who we definitively know experience sexual and romantic attraction, choosing to be together forever, but not touching each other? do you think pj and sophie have never kissed or had sex either because they don’t reference it on camera? do you go outside and interact with couples who you do not know intimately and if they don’t reference sex with each other or kiss in front of you do you think they don’t do those things at all? what are you expecting them to do to signal to you personally that they have sex?

I remember Dan mentioning in one of the liveshows that he didn't want to go to Japan again after their first trip there because it was just too perfect. He was afraid that if the second trip didn't go as planned, it would have ruined the memory. And Phil immediately said that they will go to different places and it will never be the same trip. Sometimes I just get reminded by random shit like this, and i am very glad that Dan found Phil. He really is the angel in his life.
