Baby, It’s Cold Outside

Eunwoo x Reader Author: Admin Mo Prompt: Baby it’s cold outside;eunwoo Warnings: Just some Astro Christmas fluff. Word Count: 639

At some point, the snow outside the cozy firelit living room had picked up considerably. You had gone to the boys’ place for a sweater and cocoa gift exchange with the holidays fast approaching. Absentmindedly, you had reached for your coat, only to find a large hand already settled on top of it.

“You really shouldn’t go out there. It’s pretty bad.” You looked up at the tall singer, but his eyes were fixed on the snow outside, a real blizzard now. The roads were surely awful, and the cold would definitely eat you up if you stepped foot out the front door.

“I’d love to stay a little longer, Eunwoo. Really, I would, but I have to get home before--”

“I don’t think it’s safe for you to go out there, noona.” Moonbin chimed from his spot on the couch. He looked so cozy over there, snuggled up in his sweater munching on Christmas cookies. Maybe it wouldn’t hurt to--no, you had exams to study for and your textbooks were back at your apartment.

“I have to study, you guys. You know how it is.”

“With the snow like this, your classes will definitely be cancelled. It’ll give you lots of time to study.” Eunwoo reasoned, causing your opinion to stir slightly. Maybe they were right. “Besides, if you leave, I’ll miss you.”

His gentle hand rose to stroke your cheek, brushing hair out of your reddening face. He didn’t even know what he did to you with those sparkling brown eyes of his. Did he really have to be this handsome AND sweet? It was really unfair.

“And,” he continued suddenly, “I can help you study here. And I can help you dig out your car in the morning when it’s light outside. You don’t want to drive in that in the dark.”

You were quiet for a few more moments before finally succumbing to his warm gaze and warmer arms. “Alright, maybe I can stay…”

“YAAAAAAAAY!” The room resounded with celebration, causing JinJin and Rocky to scooch further apart to allow room for you and Eunwoo to settle back in. You made some more cocoa for each of you before taking the spot they’d left for you and setting the tray of cocoa on the coffee table. Eunwoo took a long sip and sighed.

“You always make the best cocoa…” He murmured, smiling that irresistible smile you had grown so fond of.

“Well, I do try.” You grinned, resisting the urge to wipe off the whipped cream clinging to the corners of his lips, as much as you’d like to. Glancing over at Moonbin, you laughed when you caught sight of the mustache of the sweet treat stuck just above his lip. How cute.

Eunwoo leaned back and wrapped his arm over the back of the couch, letting it sit above your shoulders. Your heart raced at the proximity, at how warm he was, even from there. Cuddling with him must be the most perfect feeling in the world, you decided. You hoped someday you’d get to experience it firsthand.

Once the movie MJ had popped in was over, you stood to stretch your legs, remembering with a start that you’d left your backpack in the car, and it definitely had some of your books in it. After explaining to the boys where you were headed, Eunwoo offered to go with you. However, as soon as you moved to leave the living room, Sanha gasped and pointed over your heads. Your heart dropped as you saw the menacing little string of mistletoe hanging from the doorframe.

“Would it be alright if I…” Eunwoo asked quietly, leaning forward. You didn’t even answer, pressing up on your toes to meet him halfway as the other members cheered.

Let’s just say you were very glad you decided to stay...
