official short crisis instructions booklet by red cross and UN etc in my mail today, including stockpiling info and what to do if you're civilian in an active conflict area involving guns and stuff

it's like. good to know and all, useful. but

just fills me with dread

#everyone got those this week I think #I mean there's stuff about blackouts and that's a very current thing bc of rising gas and electricity prices ik #so it's not like it's explicitly about the possibility of Russian aggression ending up in an active arms conflict with Estonia in Estonia #we are very invested in this war and vocally and monetarily on Ukraine's side #so that kinda retaliation isn't out of the question #dread #war #ukraine #at least the Russian army seems spread thin with rusty weapons and broken machinery and an unhappy populace #god. the populace. I don't like the Russian visa bans. I think people should be free to leave that situation and come here #shit's not perfect here but at least it's not illegal to tell a child that gay people exist #vent #maybe idk I'm not doing so well
