Auraugust Day 13: Heavensward

             I remember that day on the Steps of Faith well. The searing heat of the dragons fire, the dust in my lungs from the decimated battlements, the surge of power afforded to me from Hraesvelgr’s eye. I knew it would affect me for the rest of my life, but at the time I didn’t care, I used the eye’s power to summon forth Shiva within myself. Was it the Primal birthed of Ysayle’s hopes? Was it the spirit of Hraesvelgr’s love affording me her strength along with her beloved? Was it mine own foolish delusions manifesting as a wish to see her face once more? It doesn’t matter anymore...what’s done is done....I haven’t called upon her since that day, I don’t even know if I can at all anymore. I dare not try...

Under the gentle waves, surrounded by colorful corals and fish, a Xaela finds herself at home. An Ejinn, a daughter of the sea, she is forever drawn to the depths. It is a place of comfort, of joy and of unbridled freedom. She is one with the waves, swimming beside sharks, diving for clams, and simply thriving in the beautiful blue abyss.

[[Hots’ DRK story follows a different path than the canonical one. It’s during it that he makes his pact with Midgardsormr. He picks the job stone off of Fray, but his ‘dark side’ doesn’t use Fray’s corpse like a puppet. It manifests into just his Self Esteem, so to speak. He ventures out, hoping to get stronger, to finally acknowledge that he’s been through a lot, and that he hopes that his willpower resolves into something more so he can keep pushing on until he can rest once more. 

Esteem all the negativity in Hots manifested, all his anger, his betrayal, his grief, his vengeance. He wants Hots to see him, to stop pretending that he’s okay, and that together they can be stronger. Because he doesn’t hate Hots, no. He wants Hots to love himself, so they both can stop hurting.]]

Auraugust Day 27: Endwalker

Nidhana: Aether is an energy which permeates the land. It exists within animals, objects, and even the air we breathe, affecting all trough which it flows. Akasa, on the other hand, exists in a domain beyond our reach. A gift bestowed on high - or even torn from the heavens, in some traditions. Akasa can neither be created, nor destroyed. It is beyond our power to purposefully alter or manipulate. The only thing observed to influence it is an abundance of...I want to say “spiritual emotion.”
