Let me take a second...

IRL...I am a White Male. One of the few who always falls through the cracks.

I am the Father of 3 Children of Color.

I am Ashamed of Being a White Male

Why? Because my White ASS Fucked up a perfect marriage because of the racial prejudices I didn’t even know I had until I had already screwed up that marriage. I have been picking up the pieces ever since. I strive to be a better person. I can understand the distrust, and today, I can accept it. I watch my children struggle. I worry more for their safety than I do my own. I try damned hard not to make the mistakes of the people who raised me. I recognize when I am going astray, and strive very god damned hard to be better than that. Then I watch my children struggle, and know “It’s because you are white and they are not, and you see how the system helped you, but not them...” (remember that part of always falling through the cracks? yeah, my kids suffer even worse)

And then we are faced with today...

The reality of the person who was voted in by our society...

Right

Wrong

Or Indifferent

It happened

and every day...I don’t want to be me, because being me, means I automatically oppress someone else because I automatigically have White Male Privileged...
