Some thoughts I had for the technosapiens, such as Catseye and Crosswing. They’re all FUCKING TERRIFIED of Omar. Technosapiens were designed by the Quintessons to do two things: gather, collect, and record data (see if earth can be reconquered) and to find and collect the Matrix.

This is where things get weird, the technosapiens do their job, but during a battle between the Autonaughts and Decepticons, they go after Optimus to get the Matrix. And the Matrix defends itself by sending an emp wave. This disrupts their eusocial hive mind and leaves them completely lost. They know what they’re supposed to do, but not why or how.

So they go with plan b: stalk both bases, turning them into analog horror sights. No one can get a clear look at these guys and they keep taking stuff. Nothing major, clothes, trinkets, random memorabilia. But the worst is the stalking; they watch everyone and no one knows why. People know when they’re being watched because cameras will be pointing at them and their interests will suddenly be everywhere. Which is the strangest thing these creatures do. They watch from afar, they control tech, but they never engage with anyone. It becomes obvious when someone piques their interest as suddenly that person’s favorite songs, movies, or games will suddenly appear on all monitors or radios. Both bases become flooded with their interests favorite things. It’s obvious when a conflict of interests arises because any and all radios or monitors will flip back and forth between multiple sources causing chaos for high command.

Both sides have whole discord or Reddit forums dedicated to figuring out what they want and who they’ll target next. It becomes clear that they steer clear of Optimus, when he is the only one they put danger signs on either side his images. So both bases use this to deter them. Poor Omar. They’re scared of him. This is also where the technosapiens get assigned their names: Catseye, Crosswing, Clutch, Quickfix, Knightlight, Anansi, Megabyte, Adonix, and Maccabee.

Their actions change, but only for the most annoying. I.E: they attempt to “help” with the war effort. On both sides. Que Ratchet losing his mind as med supplies are either missing or someone has been stitched improperly. Both kitchens are a mess because someone clearly doesn’t know how a blender works (Crosswing). And any new supplies that come in also come with a news report of a government facility being haphazardly broken into with a potential paper trail leading back to either group!

The TL;dr of this: don’t want any chaos? Put up a picture of Optimus and they’ll avoid you like the plague.

Oh they're going to drive Prowl mental, he's feeling emotions he didn't know he had at the mess they're making of this perfectly-run base. Them scattering like lice when OP comes into the picture though I'm ahsfgjgfhffff HE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON just ??? ?????????? while Prowl does the "got my eyes on you" gesture at the camera which is moving in ways he knows it shouldn't DON'T MAKE HIM PULL OUT THE BIG MAN WHOSE DISAPPOINTMENT ALONE WILL MAKE YOU WITHER TO DUST.
