psst, how alive is this fandom? I have project I wanna do in relation to this but I'd prefer to keep it under wraps. but if theres anyone in this fandom that is still active, please let me know. I'm dying to talk about this comic with more/other people.

ive mostly been an outsider to the fandom (other than occasional edits and fanart). id like to know if theres anyone even here that sticks around beyond its updates. im looking for very dedicated/maybe even longterm fans that have seen the ways this comic has developed over time

i feel like this arc is going to be an inversion of ava's arc at the headquarters. There ava got to express her rage and here I think Maggie is going to express her kindness

I'm looking at that face and this really feels like someone confronted with the idea of caring about others, that the world is bigger than themselves and that they have to put other's needs first.

Considering how each of the four main cast and their demon is tied to one of the gods, ava = chaos gil = order Odin = death and Maggie = life I feel that this is gonna be the arc where Maggie drinks the vial and then grows a tree to replace the god of life tree and destroy the palace in the process as she obviously fits into its role.

Wanted to drop some good news here; super excited to announce that Ava's Demon Book Two special edition is now at a Barnes and Noble near you!! I got to draw a magical looking Odin cover for this next one and I hope you like it. You can order it online here if you are not able to pick it up in stores.

The regular edition is also probably in a comic shop near you and on Amazon!! Yippee!!

We finally have payoff for the prism Rueby was seen building a few chapters ago. Are... are they just... asexually reproducing right in front of their guests? 🤣You guys couldn't even get a room or something lmao

I genuinely forgot Ava hasn't yet clocked that Odin is also like her, ie. having a demon, and I'm very puzzled why he's keeping this a secret to HER specifically. The others I get, but Ava would be sympathetic, and Pedri's been very up-front about how THAT'S HIS WIFE haunting Ava.

You don't think that might be relevant information you guys could bond over further, Odin??? My guess is Odin doesn't want to own up to it, because their whole Quest requires for them all to Pact Up, and the LAST THING Odin wants to do is willingly have anything to do with Pedri.

Lastly, The Ritual affects Mio visually, which makes sense, since they're also Excessan, but ALSO Maggie, hmmm, interesting

Either Maggie secretly has some Excessan blood, or it's because she's pacted to Tuls, who is implied to be from the same court as the old Excessan God of Life, who is implied to be one of the Four Creators (the bottom one).
