Just started reading When Cain kills Abel and I just know this fic is going to have me screaming and crying and puking 😫😭🤮 Anytime I read a fic where the relationship starts out as a dare I think about how I could never ever trust or love that person the same way. It just seems so humiliating to be the butt of someone’s joke like that and it’s even worse to know that they’re not telling Regulus because they feel guilty. Like you knew it was wrong and cruel but you did it anyways and now you pity poor Reg too much to tell him 😭

I totally understand why Sirius decided what he did but when this backfires he’ll have no one to blame but himself. I just know James will have that moment where he tries to explain he fell in love along the way but his broken heart will inevitably be his own damn fault. As always, they should’ve listened to Remus and just faced the consequences of their shitty actions.

All that is to say I’m obsessed with your fic and can’t wait to see what happens next!!!

i enjoy talking about this fic any chance i get so.

(trying to find the right words to say in response where i won’t spoil anything) i do have a lot in store for all of these characters. despite the happy ending tag, none of them will be let off easily. at all. it’s going to take a long time for the story to get there. and basically everything you think and fear will go wrong, most likely will (and more – i have so much tucked up my sleeve it’s not even funny)

there’s a lot of discussion on morals and how these characters navigate that, make horrible decisions, and deal with their guilt – that i do aim to bring up in this fic.

sirius and james will suffer. lol.

and for what it’s worth, i also scream and cry and puke when writing this story (i really don’t know what possessed me to write this😭)

I will stop rambling, but i’m very excited for you to see all the stuff that’s going to happen 😘😘

I wasn’t happy with any of the chapters and ended up removing the fic completely. and i really don’t want the same to happen with when cain kills abel because I’m very dedicated to this fic!
