Every single noise in the room stopped, almost as if scared to continue. Skin on skin, the slapping, the moans of pleasure teetering to pain, it all stopped.

Axel said nothing. You don’t even hear him breathing.

“Axel-” Jim tries before stopping. You slowly turn your head and through your tears you see Axel, shaking and nearly sobbing himself. His dom drop was always insane, usually leading to silence and avoidance, and you could see him getting visibly paler and more distraught. “Axel?”

“B-baby...” he says, so quietly you can barely hear it. You can tell he’s fighting his instincts to crowd you. His hand rises than hovers, almost as if he was going to touch you but then changed his mind. He blinks, causing the first boulders of tears to slip down his cheeks. He grabs his boxers and shambles out of the bedroom, slamming the bathroom door shut.

You want to get up and chase after him, but you can’t. Your body still aches and you can’t stop crying despite Jim’s soothing cooing; Axel won’t be able to move on from this until you stop.

“Jimmy,” you say, voice shaky from crying.

“He’ll be okay, lovebug,” Jim assures, brushing more hair from your face. “He just needs to think about it. You know how he gets when you cry.”

Except... you don’t. And neither does Jim.

You’d wake up (because they don’t wake you up on the weekends) to the smell of Axel’s amazing cooking and Jim’s bubbly laughter bouncing off the walls, and honestly it’s the best way to wake up.

You’d shamble to the kitchen and smile as Axel’s playlist sings softly, Jim swinging his legs on the counter as he tries to sneak berries and chocolate chips from the bowl, only to be stopped and smothered with kisses from Axel.

“You’re such a brat!” He growls playfully, covering Jim’s neck in kisses as the latter squeals and tucks his neck and squirms away. When Axel stops and Jimmy’s eyes rescan the room, a massive smile breaks out on his face.

“Morning sleepyhead,” he teases, extending a hand to you as you walk towards them. He pulls you into a warm hug, the smell of his soap from his early morning shower still clinging to his skin, and you absolutely relish in it.

“Hey sleeping beauty, where’s my hug?” Axel asks, and you tut at the nicknames as you hug him tightly.

“It’s only 9:30, dickhead,” you grumble, shifting on your feet as he swings you both back and forth.

“Doesn’t matter, no amount of sleep is too much, babydoll,” he assures, kissing your head before turning back to his pancakes. “You’re on ‘watch Jim and make sure he doesn’t eat anymore of my goddamned ingredients’ duty.”

“No!” Axel groaned. “This is literally the only thing she asked us to do with her, we owe it to her to dress up.”

Duncan scoffs and turns back to his other roommates, eyes widening in disbelief at Michael’s nodding. “Don’t tell me you’re actually agreeing with him?”

Michael shrugs, “it could be fun. And you know it would mean the world to her.”

“It would also put our names and reputations on the line, Langdon.”

Michael snorts, “you wonder why Axel is her favorite.” Axel smirks and nods to himself, eyes closed proudly.

Duncan opens his mouth to argue, but the door opens suddenly, turning all four men towards the sound.

“Hey, guys?” Your small voice asks, peeking your head in. Axel smiles and nods, “what’s up, sweetheart?”

“I was wondering if I could show you my costume?” You ask. Michael matches Axel’s smile and all four men nod, and slowly, you push open the door, revealing your long, black velvet like dress to them all, the tied lace in front of your breasts leaving little to the imagination.

Let me just say, first of all

that you and Jim are absolutely obsessed with axel. Even to the point where sometimes you may or may not fight over him.

So here comes a very trashy fic, because my brain is exhausted, but since @sojournmichael complained for the lack of “Pro Biker! Jim” I worked a bit on this and I hope it didn’t suck too much!

At first, she had tried her best to appear cool and nice with him, but she honestly had found it more and more difficult to tolerate his constant blabber, whenever he would try to point out why one of her plans wouldn’t work.

She, somehow, would always end up barking at him, without taking his opinion in consideration even for a moment, because of that arrogant and teasing tone of his

But worst of all, he had started flirting with Jimmy, and she honestly had never thought to be a jealous person, but she hated the way Axel and Jim could talk easily about each thing, and the fact that she had to spend a ton of time more, to make up for Russel’s absence and Axel’s incompetency, stopped her from being with Jim as much as she would have liked.

She also couldn’t help but feel a bit distant with him, because she trusted him with all her heart, but she also knew that he could so much more.

Suddenly the strong pretense of the unbreakable machine she was, was breaking under the crack of exhaustion, jealousy and loneliness.

And that reunion before that race was where it all exploded.

She honestly had to say that her mind, due to sleepless nights, wasn’t in the best state, so she hadn’t been able to hear completely the entire discourse made by Axel, but she already knew that it wouldn’t work: he had crazy bold plans, which would have fully worked on cars and race cars, but not on bikes.

She knew it, because she had been working in the business for far longer than he had.

And most importantly: she was his boss.

But what had gotten to her fully was the fact that Jim had sided with him, against her and she couldn’t help but feel betrayed.
