Nowhere, Redcastle, Donegal, Ireland. The image size is 150 cm wide. Going on to a wall in Richmond, south west London. It’s from my project Neon Stories. The neon signs were based on words taken from songs, or song titles. I picked words that I felt had a particular relationship to the location they were placed in. Nowhere is song by @rideox4official one of the first bands I ever saw. New work I photographed at Luminarias festival last week. Held in San Bartolome de Pinares, about 100 KM west of Madrid. Las Luminarias is held annually on the eve of St Anthony. It is believed that riding horses through fires will keep diseases and bad luck away for the year ahead. The horses and riders are blessed by a priest at the beginning of the ride. It dates from the 16th Century. After the ride, there is food and wine through out the night. I met so many friendly people who live in the village and travelled to the festival. Bruno's Motel, Gerlach, Nevada. I shot this early one morning when I was jet lagged. I laid down flat on the road. It was shot on slide film (E6) and processed through a negative processing machine (C41) better known as cross processing. It gives you lovely warm and contrasty colours. Also sharper than standard neg film as well. This is a 20 x 16 inches gloss print going off to a new home.
