a thing about AAI is that through the combined need to involve the player in all the puzzle-solving and the in-world treatment of edgeworth as a genius, everyone else in the story has ample time holding the idiot ball. this was least noticeable with gumshoe who plays that role all the time and more egregious as the game has gone on. i played a bit yesterday where franziska handed him a piece of evidence labelled "2/3". five minutes later we found papers labelled 1/3 and 3/3. child prodigy baby genius interpol agent franziska could not connect these dots on her own. edgeworth is truly the only one in these games gifted with the superpower of logic.
For Es, I don't know if this is a good idea, but how about you try breaking your fall into different parts? Such as letting go of the vine to fall a short distance and grabbing onto it again so that you don't have to hurt your hands the whole way?
Your entire body is trembling as you let go of the vine.
You regret it immdieatly, your going too fast to grab back onto it again. When you try, the pain from the mix of friction and the sudden deceleration make you immdieatly let go.
Shidou almost falls from your antler but you grab him and hold him tightly.
You're really sorry for this.
You close your eyes in preparation for the intense pain and loop restart, but when you reach the bottom your body instead sinks into Something before springing back up with a small boing.
