Snake Design for the Back of Character Card

It was fun drawing this and learning the techniques in photoshop to overlay the parts, symmetry fill, etc. The reason I decided to make a snake design for the back is so that in the story the cult know what you fully believe in. I found changing the brightness and contrast fun, as the different tones of colours you can get from changing such a simple thing. I liked the pastel tone the most, and the design in the top left right hand corner reminds me of an albino snake. I really like albino snakes which makes me slightly biased to adding smaller snakes into my story.

Instead of simpler designs like the bigger snake, I want to use designs of my favourite types of snakes such as Banana, King Cobras and Royal Pythons. I like Banana snakes and Royal Pythons because of the intricate patterns, and King Cobras because of their frills which help to identify when they feel threatened.

My husband and I had talked about getting ice cream earlier so a bit after he left for an errand I called him and told him I wanted some chunky monkey by ben and Jerry's, which is a banana ice cream with chocolate chips

Well he came home and handed me this instead 🥺

Apparently he had been in our local reptile shop looking at this man and when I called and told him I wanted banana ice cream it sealed deal and he knew he had to get him
