What happened to us to fail as a society so hard that nearly everyone has a general concept of 'the wizard of oz' and yet fun merchandise and figurines and diy minature book nooks don't exist and the original books are considered 'obscure'

#sorry. i look up wizard of oz minature diy and get alice in wonder land stuff where did we go wrong #i KNOW its the copyright and no one relaly sees worth in the books because their old and public domain #but at LEAST get me a full collection with pretty covers.... cmon man #barns and nobles alice in wodnerland through the looking glass stylized embossed covers #with new art PLEASEEE #only the first book wver gets cool covers :[
