Daffodil. . Drank… in Tilburg last week, a Barrel Aged Serie No. 29 (Rise & Shine Jamaican Rum/Rye Bourbon Barrel Aged) beer, brewed by Bronckhorster Brewing Company. Advertised as “It’s to forget, and to move on. Take a deep breath. Relax, savour and indulge yourself in the flavours of this barrel-aged Imperial Red Ale. The palate has the lusciousness of vanilla, crème caramel and molasses. This generously hopped beer has a pleasant and balanced hop background that nicely compensate the sweet flavours of the rum and bourbon barrels.
