Hi! I'd like to ask, do you have some info on Kemetic deities? I don't know where to start in terms of research. โ€“ your new anon, ๐ŸŽ€๐Ÿ’‰
Hello! Absolutely I can do that! I'm not sure if you're looking for anything specific but I can't give you some simple things to get started. :)
First of all, some of the most popular gods most people start with would be Anubis (Anpu) or Bastet (Bast). Anpu is the Egyptian god of the afterlife, embalming, death, mummification, etc etc. Bastet is the goddess of cats, love, dancing, music, pleasure, perfume, etc etc. They are very starter friendly, and I can prove that because Anpu was the first to reach out to me lol.
If you want to make a simple starting altar, that works too! Could just use color coded things, objects that remind you of them, or just some simple rocks or plants will do as well. They also LOVE handcrafted things. They will gladly take them as offerings! Bread and water work perfectly as an offering for almost any kemetic deity. It's simple and quick to make for them. When giving food offerings to the deities, it is most common to consume the offering after the deity has. Almost like having a quick meal with them and is the most respectful thing to do. :)
In terms of research, Wikipedia and mythopedia work for deity stories and background information! I never really went to any website for worshipping information, I have always been stuck to social media. Tumblr has many posts and blogs committed to kemetic worship! I have also found Reddit and Pinterest helpful to!
If you have any other questions, don't be afraid to message me! I'll try to respond ASAP!
Hopefully this helped you though, good luck on your journey, friend. ๐Ÿซถ
