I started to read about your clangen cats and i need to know whats happening between Moor, Talon and Lake (those are the names right)?

Moorheart and Lakesun are having marriage problems wherein they’ve been through a lot and neither of them are coping well and maybe perhaps they’re taking it out on each other a little bit. enter Talon!

Talon is fun and new and really good at making Lake laugh and Moor wants to kill him to death about it. Talon doesn’t really know Lake is cat married but he also doesn’t really care - he’s a guy who’s never really stuck around long enough to see the consequences of his actions before, so!

Lake likes Talon cuz he likes spending time with someone who isn’t miserable, but he’s also maybe in denial about Talon’s romantic interest in him. He’s like ‘if I pretend that I don’t know he likes me then technically I’m not doing anything wrong by hanging out with him!’ which. Isn’t how that works.

Moor is upset about the whole situation but also feels guilty about getting in the way of a friendship that genuinely makes Lake happy so instead of expressing his feelings he just fucks off into the forest for days at a time. which! isn’t helping!

regretfully they are a case of a situation that could simply be solved through good old fashioned communication, but this is a surface level dive into their b plot they WILL get better. They will be dragged kicking and screaming into being better
