i found this vanqua fic the other day, it’s only a couple chapters but i like it so far. :3 it does have a ‘creator chose not to add warnings’ label though, so please be cautious. also baby-xemnas aka kotbysleep (nsfw) aka nekokat42 (also nsfw) is a much better vanqua artist than me so please check him out. X’D (heads-up those twitter threads are way longer than you think so make sure you see eeeverything~).

i’m still working on venqua week and i’ve got 2 more prompts to go, one i haven’t started yet and one i’m halfway done with—

but yeah, both of these pics will have an 18+ version as well. i admit i’m super anxious about posting it next week, as i’ve seen just how absolutely toxic fandom is on twitter. like, you thought tumblr was bad? i’ve spent the last few days preemptively blocking literally hundreds if not thousands of antis just so i can feel a little safer posting my content without some asshat calling me a pedo or telling me to kill myself over cartoons. XU i somewhat worry that i’ve accidentally blocked some people who were just joking around and weren’t actually harassing anyone, but it’s just so hard to tell sometimes. if i’ve accidentally blocked anybody here, just let me know so i can unblock you. :3 (idk why that sentence came out so sinister sounding but i’m legit being sincere X’D).

but seriously, idk when fandom suddenly got such a stick up its ass (around 2016-17 from my guesstimate) and decided aging-up a fictional character by a year or two is such a crime, but i guess that’s just the state of things. :T i could draw vanitas as a centaur or make him blond or whatever and no one cares, but aging him by one year? suddenly big problem! yeah, right. XP like, i know i said every character in kh is 17+ as of khmom (ignoring any weird timeline retcons of course), but heck i could make an honest case for the wayfinder family all being adults. hear me out—

it’s been 13 years since bbs, right? and for 12 of those years, aqua was in the realm of darkness, terra had some awareness while being possessed by xehanort, ven experienced some of sora’s life when he was in a coma, and vanitas was almost certainly in ven/sora’s heart as well, so all four of them could be said to be 31, 33, and 29 respectively. it’s not like their character models were any different when they were young teens as opposed to older teens, so can we really be sure they’re not all 30~ by now? heck, since ven is from the age of fairytales i could say he’s 1000 years old if i wanted too! (psst, it’s almost as if these are all fictional characters living in a fantasy world with time travel and whatnot and their ages are completely arbitrary numbers nomura made up on the spot, numbers which he has retconned before! :P).

now i don’t actually think they’re that old, but if people are gonna hassle me over a goddamn 2-year age difference, i might as well say fuck it and have fun with it, right? ;P it’s not like antis even know what the canon character ages even actually are, like when they try to say that skuld is underage when (assuming she’s subject x) she’d be around 28~ by now, or axel and saïx’s age. (maybe i’ll draw some saïx x skuld art and watch the antis lose their minds. ;P it wouldn’t even have to be nsfw to rile them up).

anyway, i do admit i’m feeling a little burned out on art recently. XP i’ve been trying to get one art piece out per week plus venqua week, and yeah it’s kinda taken its toll. i know this really isn’t anything anyone wants to hear, but i’ve been kinda thinking of moving away from fandom projects to work on my own original work. now, i’m not saying i’m abandoning a heart and a half nor anything as drastic as that! but i have spent like 2 years of my life on it just to get to the halfway mark, and i’m not sure i can spend 2 more doing only that.

i’ve got an original story idea that i’ve been working on-and-off on for the past 7 years or so, and i’m thinking of going back to it again (it does need a pretty big re-write). its main pairing is actually pretty vanqua-ish, now that i think about it. like, imagine the realm of darkness but instead of the heartless it’s infested with demons, and the main characters are the demon-slaying duo of a serious yet kindhearted half-angel and a feral, snarky half-demon. i even aged them up from 14 to 18 so none of my potential fans have to suffer the same anti bullshit that i have. XP

what else can i ramble about... oh, i got these super cute pins for christmas! :D the heartless is by xkirakira, and vanitas and aqua are by maxxmerch. they’re just so cute! X3 i hope everyone had a merry christmas and a happy holiday! i’ll see you guys later. ^3^

*looks around sheepishly* ó3ò alright... confession time. spoilers for a heart and a half for the rest of this post—

sooo~ i’ve kinda hinted at this before, but yeah i’ve always planned on adding a sex scene to a heart and a half; when i started writing back in 2018 i hadn’t realized how hostile fandom had become compared to only a few years ago, and it worries me that some readers might drop the fic because of it, or be angry with me over the underage aspect. :(

idk, i could go on about how i just wanted to explore every aspect of a romantic relationship, or how other disney/square enix characters married or had kids young (ariel, sarah hawkins, héctor, claudia strife, possibly jasmine), or how attempting to apply real-world rules to a videogame fantasy setting is inherently silly and pointless, but really it’s just ‘cause i love vanitas and aqua to bits and i just wanted to write a cute and funny mild sex scene between them (this fic is rated mature, not explicit, so much less graphic than confection affection), and at the end of the day they are just fictional characters, after all.

i guess all i can hope for is that i’m a skilled enough writer to pull it off in a believable way, and that my audience won’t be too put off by it. >_> i know vanitas and aqua have technically only known each other for about 2 months so it might not be ‘realistic’ for them to go so far into a relationship so soon, but i think it’s important to remember that ultimately this is a romantic fairytale, and other canon disney couples haven’t seen nearly as deeply into each other’s hearts as vanitas and aqua have (and this video also helped me feel better about it).

i also wanted to finish that nsfw venqua fic i started a few months back, it’s set just before the mark of mastery so yes ven would be 16. i suppose it’s a way of testing the waters to see what kind of reception i’d get (hopefully positive) before i get to that part of a heart and a half. i was also thinking of including some of the uh, ‘keyblades as erogenous zones’ aspect from this terraquaven fic as well... w-why are you looking at me like that?! it’s funny! *sweats nervously* o3o’

in all honesty, i’m probably just overthinking all this (which, knowing me, is almost a guarantee >_<) and i should just *ahem* let my heart be my guiding key, and just write what i want to write without worrying about it all the time. i just get so anxious so easily... buuut that’s not really news to anyone, now is it? ;P well, i think that’s the end of my endless ramble, thanks for reading if you got this far. X’D and i really hope i didn’t actually upset anybody about a heart and a half. ;_; i just felt like i needed to vent a little, but don’t worry about me, i’m doing fine. anyway, i really should stop typing and get back to work on venqua week, sooo... bye! Nightbound Review

I literally just finished Nightbound (I know I'm late, I was on vacation) so I figured I'd do this little review type deal since this is literally my favorite choices story ever.

First of all my heart is broken, like I said this is my favorite choices book ever, I loved the characters, the plot, the setting, just everthing about it, and to find out we're not getting a book 2 crushed me. Especially when I still have sooo many questions. I like PB just forgot to fully adress for example:

1. What/Who was the mysterious voice that spoke to us in the first chapter? (The Fate maybe?)

2. Who paid Nik to protect us? ( I guess this could also be The Fate, but idk that just doesn't seem right)

3. If you're not romancing Nik, do you and him ever talk it out it out and become friends again or do just literally never talk to each other ever again?

4. If you stay in New Orleans where does Kristin go next in life? Does she stay in touch?

5. Also this isn't really and unadressed question but did anyone else who stayed in New Orleans with someone other than Vera get the vibe that something was going on between Vera and Luc?

6. Finally, what happens to Tialo after he's banished?(I'm honestly really curious about this, also he's now confined to the mortal world now so he could really come after us at any time right? Forgive me if I'm forgetting something pertaining to this)

Anyway moving on, I really can't understand how this book did not do well. It was packed with supernatural lore, action, four absolutely AMAZING love interests (choosing between Nik and Cal was sooo hard for me), and even a few fun lighthearted shenanigans. I can't exactly put my finger on what it is but there is just something about it that makes it soooooooooooooooo much better than any of PB's other books. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I truly don't like Blood Bound that much, I played the first book and then started the second but I couldn't quite find the motivation to contine after maybe 3 chapters, idk I just don't love the characters or the plot, and I've always felt like the BB MC seems rather helpless. So when I found out that PB was making NB as an extension of the BB universe but with werewolves instead of vampire I got really excited at first bc WEREWOLVES, then remembered I didn't like BB that much so I braced myself for massive dissapointment, but it outlived even my first over-excited hopes for it. There are just so many reasons to love this book for example:

1.The begining~ I love the start of the book for it's mystery and how MC gets pulled into the supernatural world. The chapter starts off with premonitve dream sequence in which MC runs from the blood wraith in the cemetery and dies, then throughout the begining of the chapter she sees Nik several times, both before and after she's met up with Kristin and Vera for her 25th birthday party. From there it's as simple as trying to get into an exclusive club and then BOOM! wraith. I just really like how the opening was set up and how it drew me in.

2. The characters ~ I can honestly say that there was only one charcter in this book thatbI could truly say I didn't like (*cough* Tialo *cough) The villians in this story (minus Tialo) had such well developed back stories that you could even find yourself liking them a little bit too. The love interests in this story are just awesome all four of them are strong, brave, caring, and they wavh have their own personal demons to overcome along the way ( there is so much character growth in this book). Also I appreciate how Kristin was handled, even though she's not in the loop about the supernatural she never comes across as dumb or helpless, she shows charcter strength by bouncing back from her injuries and even getting out to go to Mardi Gras with MC and party. Not to mention how much I love Lord Elric, Lady Thalissa, and the fae realm but more on that later. This book also has an amazing cast of background characters (Ivy, Krom, Garrus, and Luc) that while they might not always be there they help as much as they can and they're amazingly fun characters.

The plot~ what I love about the plot of this book is that there are lots of twists and turns, however the story isn't hard to follow and the plot twists aren't massively predictable. With a lot of Choices books you see people making predictions 2 and 3 (sometimes even more) chapters ahead and then it turns out their right. With a few exceptions, most of the predictions I saw for this book weren't right, and the plot twists were genuinely unexpected.

The Fae Realm ~ I love the fae realm so much, and I love how it actually ties MC to the supernatural world by blood. Lord Elric is definitely the best father in the Choices universe, and Lady Thalissa is so sweet and I love her for accepting MC so quickly as her own daughter. Not to mention the Perrikin (default name was Cassie, I called mine Arwen if anyone was wondering) was adorable, helpful, and I feel like she was really comforting to MC when things got rough.

I know I didn't touch on everything in thise categories but if I did I'd probably have a small novel here lol. Now I will admit there are a few draw backs to this book, for example:

1. 30 diamond scenes ~ One of the major complaints I heard was that people were paying for 30 diamond scenes with the love interests for basically nothing to happen

2. Simplification of Lore~ this wasn't a problem with all of the Lore but I did notice that all of the fae seemed to be elves, which I didn't mind because I love elves, but fae is a category in supernatural lore for all kinds of creatures, which I know PB can't go into all of the lore details, but I'm sure it happend in other places too and as a lover of Supernatural lore I was a little disappointed.

All in all, despite its few flaws, Nightbound was definitely one of the best choices books ever. This book had so much potential, and it really is a shame to see it go to waste, but I guess we can always hope that PB might revive it someday.

Paul tried it.............. he really did huh!!! Its funny how even though I helped 0% in the challenge I still stayed. I've got the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad with me and that's all I need. As long as I have those numbers, I feel great. If we end up losing again.. bye bye Mattie!

Well, I stuck with Misty and Bianca, and Mattie is going to draw the flag, I think. So this will be exciting, i'm perfectly okay with handing over the reigns to someone else during this challenge, hopefully it will earn us our first win!

I think I'm gonna see what I can do to make it more high quality or something (maybe change it around a bit) since it looks a little pixelated, but yay! I honestly don't know what I expected out of this experience, but it wasn't this. When I played Divergent, the cast was about 70-80% active throughout an entire day. But this time, it's only active about 25% of the day. The only two people who even say or do anything are Giruga and Dianna, the two people I dislike the most. I have to work from ground up with building relationships with these people because I haven't been present to do that from the start, and I'm worried that my window of opportunity has closed up already. I wanna get the two of them into a chat where we can stick together as the active people of the game (so far). If I have it my way, we can vote off William or whatever his name is. Even though Layla and Kat are more useless than he is, I think he's trying to be deceptive about everything (saying he's NEVER played orgs before, or how he has NO idea how to make alliances) while most people just conceal their personal lives. I find it difficult to socialize too and I have shared these laments with Dianna in the past because we both know it's difficult to engage in proper conversation with others without unintentionally giving ourselves away. I hate that. And also, this game is helping me finally go over the bridge for ORGs. I truly think this will be my final experience, and so far I don't have hopes that it'll be a good one. I'm at a crossroads with these games and my personal life, because I can only take one path, no turning back. I want to say that at the end of this, I'm ready to move on. I'm ready to be happy again. I don't know if I'm here for the right reasons, but let's just try to make it right.

I'm actually... very happy with the flag I made. Imagine if I win this challenge for our tribe after not being here for the last 2? Come on redemption arc!

So Giruga and I were talking He seems pretty cool and someone I could work with. He's the only one from his old tribe on this tribe so I think I could easily swoop him up. I am worried about the other 4 on our tribe noticing that us 3 Panamint members are close. I wanna work with Alex but I'm worried about his bonds with the other Zabrinskie members. Sooo yeah I'm just trying to make a deal with Giruga rn and hopefully if we go to tribal I'm in majority and my edit stays good! (I'm hoping CP4.... Last episode I better have gotten a positive edit and the one before that I probably got a negative one when Paul went home)

A fucking tribe swap, and one world. Imagine that. At least now I can start getting a feel for everyone that wasn't originally on Panamint. I've been talking to Dianna a bit because I remember going to DH with her, but sadly she isn't on my tribe so I can't really align myself with her. The bright side is that my alliance with Misty and Gabby (queens!) is all on the same tribe as me. If we can pull in another member of our tribe we could have the numbers to control votes if we ever have to go to tribal. Bless random.org for making me a captain <3 <3 <3

Dianna HAS to be either Dom, Nick or Nic. Or Ashley but I'm betting it's Dom. Dianna and I worked close together in Festive BB, and then it was revealed that she was a catfish played by Ashley >.>. I don't think Ashley would play her again but Dianna's handwriting looks a lot like Dom's now and Dianna, then Ashley and I were a duo until she cut me at final 3 after winning the final HOH! but I've played two games with Dom, hosted him once and he's hosted me once, I KNOW HIS TYPING STYLE AND the putting 'ME' after everything anywhere, that has to be him and I'm taking notes.

So we lost.. it sucks. However it gives me more air time so? I love a good bright side! Anyway, of course Gabby/Bianca and I start talking. Apparantly Alex/Kai are pulling her into an alliance. Alex is cancelled. I mean.. how dare he not include me. But anyway. Adelaide may not have spoken to me yet but... Kai, I've got my eyes on you. For now I'm gonna work on Giruga wish me luck!

my alliance didnt want to throw this, but I did. so I performed poorly. I submitted a score of about 3000, which isn't great by any means. If my tribe loses, I'll claim that my second submission (of about 5000) was not scored and I'll make a very public argument over it. of course, the hosts cannot do anything, and effectively send my tribe to tribal council :) then, I'll flip on the old titus bitches and send one of them home (PROBABLY Kat because I don't like the game she plays) I want to go the distance with William and Dianna and Giruga, but Kat is way too unknown for me to ever trust her enough to keep her around. I'll start talking to the three other people on the tribe and hopefully get them to turn their sights from the bigger threats of Will and Dianna. For my strategy, Will and Dianna will be the perfect shields to take into another swap but also the merge. They've got numbers swarming them and I want to minimize our status as threats by having five of our original tribe members going into a merge, and I know that I'll be deceiving them bad, but I hope they don't hold a grudge. Although I'm turning over a new leaf as a player by truly wanting to stay loyal to big threats, I'm still playing the same, old, jaiden way

IT ONLY TOOK LIKE 800 TIMES AT THE DEVILS HOLE BUT I FINALLY FOUND SOMETHING GAME CHANGING. I have the ruby idol, which could automatically makes a rocks situation if I feel festive enough for it. Hopefully I won't be in a position to use it for a while since I now have an alliance with Misty/Gabby/Giruga in addition to my alliance with Misty and Gabby. I feel good about having majority on the tribe, but I'm trying to stay close to Dianna since she's on the other tribe. I think I'm gonna give her my glow stone when I'm done with it, so that way I can prove that I trust her. I just hope I'm not making a huge mistake.

I can't make a video right now, but in the event that I get voted out tonight I just wanted to say a few things. So far I've aligned myself with the Neutral tribe and I'm really hoping I'm not being screwed over... because I seriously want to work with them, especially if it means down the line I can flip the game on old Titus. Please just let me survive my first actual tribal!!!!
