Happy Wednesday Another lovely day here in The Gloucestershire Countryside. I feel very blessed to live in such a beautiful part of the world. It is very easy to forge a relationship with nature and to see why we must protect our environment when you have such beauty on your doorstep. I thought today I'd share with you some snippets about our location. We are in a little village but are lucky to be located within very easy reach of Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Ledbury, the Forest of Dean, the Cotswolds and the M5 motorway. We are located in Gloucestershire, yet only 6 miles from the borders of both Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Within the actual Village of Hartpury we have a primary school, wonderful old buildings, such as a Norman Church and Tythe barn, a Victorian Bee Shelter, a Mill, sadly no longer working, which was used as the location for the BBC drama The Living and the Dead, a land and sports based college, Championship Rugby Side Hartpury RFC, an excellent country pub and restaurant @the_royal_exchange , who are gradually extended their vegan menu, I can highly recommend the roasted aubergine from their new summer menu😍 , a vets surgery, a monthly craft and produce market, which I initially set up several years ago and is now run by Anthea and Helen, brilliant upholster and at the heart of the village the Post Office and Village Store.
