A/N. ! the second jungwon drabble out of the thirteen??! JSJDJD that will be posted for this event 🤩 i hope you guys enjoy ^_^ <3

“oh-?” you let out as you felt a drop of water hit your forehead in the middle of your and jungwon’s date in the park.

from the bench you two were seated on, you held your palm out and looked up at the sky before more rain hit the surface of your hand.

“it’s raining,” you told your boyfriend beside you, to which he confirmed with the nod of his head.

he pondered for a bit before a small smirk made its way to his lips, “wait here.”

and so, just as he told you, you waited, after watching him quickly run off into a convenience store that you two had just conveniently been passing by.

about a minute after heading into the shop, your boyfriend popped out from the door with an umbrella.

he smiled at you, proudly showing you his purchase, and you couldn’t help but let out a chuckle.

he ran to you and opened it up for the two of you.

he sat back down and held the umbrella over top of you both, paying extra attention so as to make sure you would be the one to be covered, if not both of you.

“thanks, wonie,” you said, turning your head to the side to look at him with a grin.

he returned the smile before pressing his forehead gently against yours and quickly leaving a soft peck on your lips, “anything for you, my love.”

another smile painted your lips after pulling away, and you adjusted your position to lay your head between his shoulder and the crook of his neck.

with his hand that wasn’t holding the umbrella, he brought his arm around you, hugging you closer into him.

“this is actually really nice,” you commented, receiving an agreeing and satisfied hum in response from your boyfriend.

the rain grew heavier, and soon, comfortable silence overcame the two of you, and all that could be heard were the sounds of light rainfall surrounding you.

you closed your eyes, relaxed, and soon fell asleep in his arms.

and when jungwon noticed, he smiled to himself. he loved and adored you so much, and he let you be for as long as you would stay asleep, causing you to wonder how exactly you got so lucky?

but the exact same could be said on jungwon’s end about you.

how was he so lucky to have found a girlfriend as incredible as you? he couldn’t have found a more perfect person for himself. he found his soulmate, the love of his life. and even though you two had been dating for a while, it still sometimes took him a moment to process that you were indeed his. and he would be forever grateful.
