I wasn’t going to post this on my blog but I’m still giggling at this so here is a snippet at the tail end of an absolutely wild exchange between Beck and Harper:

Harper: Ok let me put it another way. There are two wolves inside you. One is black and angry and greedy and the other is happy and friendly.

Beck: I can only shift into a grey wolf.

Harper: the colors don't matter. The point is, the wolves are fighting and which one is going to win?

Beck: I will not tolerate any fighting inside of me.

Harper: wha--no. No the answer is the one you feed.

Beck: I don't feed wildlife. It disrupts their natural pattern of living 

Harper: Jesus fuck this was supposed to be a joke but now you're going to get it if it's the last thing I do. Ok, forget the wolves, let's say it's cats. You have two cats fighting inside you a black cat who is angry and a white cat who is happy. Which one is gonna win? 

Beck: Angrboda 

Harper:... what 

Beck: Angrboda is a large, angry black cat who is a surprisingly strong fighter and I can't think of any other cat that could- 

Harper: The one you FEED! 

 Beck: why wouldn't I feed both of my cats? That's a horrible thing to do! How could you accuse me of animal abuse?! 

Harper: How is it I was trying to mess with you and I'm the one with the headache? 

Beck: I take animal welfare very seriously
