as someone who doesnt really engage in the superhero genre and only saw one of the spiderman movies when i was like, in middle school, i also appreciate spiderverse because while obviously its a love letter to everything spiderman, it's something that can be appreciated by anyone.
#sure a lot of stuff flies over my head like the doc ock twist or the prowler#but it doesnt make the movie any less enjoyable like the doc ock thing is still effective bc its a twist that the lady who seems like she'l#be helpful is actually an unhinged divorce murder lady with tentacle arms#and the twist that uncle aaron was the prowler hit me so hard when i first saw it#theyre not just good spiderman movies but theyre good movies in general yknow?#echoed voice
