A free, digital Transformers zine focused on propaganda! Decepticon manifestos, Autobot PSAs, beastformer rights, functionist doctrine, all continuities and propaganda forms welcome.

This zine will feature both art and writing, with the goal of 30-40 contributors. Organized by @thenamesblurrito

Grimlock stalked through the dark room, placing each massive clawed foot softly in front of the other. Despite his gigantic size, he moved in near silence as he hunted. He crouched low, swinging his saurian head slowly side to side, every circuit buzzing with anticipation.

Someone had the foolish idea that cutting the power to the lights would save them. A low chuckle rumbled in his throat. Although his crimson optics strained to process visual images in complete darkness, he had other senses to rely upon. There would be no escape!

Rattrap snickered. Dinobot, who’d developed an almost pavlovian response to the sound, glared down at him. “And what could it be that you find so humorous, vermin?”

Rattrap rolled his eyes, picking up a vibrant blue feather and spinning it in his fingers. “Didn’t know ya cared so much about your appearance, that’s all! Gotta look good when you’re monologuing about yourself to yourself?”

“Quiet, you mangy little rodent! I suppose you would prefer if I coated myself in filth like you,” Dinobot growled as the feathers along his spine stood on end.

“I clean myself all the time, I just don’t use my mouth for it-” he transformed and raised his arms, flashing a mocking smile as he said, “look, hands! Remember ’em?”

“That’s it!” Dinobot’s nostrils flared, flashing his claws and-

“Both of you, stop!” Optimus barked – literally barked, baring his fangs as he slammed a fist down between the two.

...They stopped.

God of the Dead

My piece for TF Mythos Zine! In my continuity, Primus didn’t create life on Cybertron, but entrusted such an enormous task onto his only creation - Life Warden.

Life Warden is the enigmatic deity who goes by many names: Starchaser, Nightwhisper, Humming Light, Shadowbringer, Goldfire and his personal favorite, Bumblebee. 

Each of thirteen beastformer clans depicted him differently. Like Maximals believed, he was a friend of Nature, who will furiously punish everyone who upsets the balance. Or Alchimals were sure he came from the Well itself, bringing his gift of life.

Here’s you see how Mortilans depicted him - very much like Greek’s Hades, the God of the Dead. The night sky is the kingdom of the dead. Each star is a spark of a deceased being, waiting for the next life. The moon is the Crystal Palace, from which Life Warden watches over resting souls and greets the new ones. Only sparks can perceive his radiant crystal form, as a mortal’s sight cannot handle such primordial beauty.

A brief preview of the Jurassic Park inspired Scavengers romp that I wrote for the @animaltfzine !! Can the king of the dinosaurs also become king of shoot shoot bang bang?!
