Okay this isn’t like an anti Dean post it’s more looking at his psyche when it comes to Sam and other people it’s also a full rant and a mess of words I’m very sorry 💀✌️✨✨

Dean has told Sam multiple times he wants him to get out of this life get married have 2.5 kids all the snazzy stuff

But the minute Sam does exactly that gets out of the life gets with a girl all the stuff Dean wanted

Also people keep forgetting Dean did the exact same thing with the whole lisa and Ben thing

Sam isn’t a terrible person for not spending his every waking moment to get Dean back as he was currently dealing with the fact Bobby died, His own mental health and thinking his best friend and Brother were dead

The last time Sam wanted to save his brother from death he was manipulated by ruby and became the literal terminator (twice because of the 6months alone in mystery spot)

Anyway this got way off topic my bad I just hate mischaracterization on sam and making dean look like this beacon of light who does no wrong (spoiler alert he does a lot of terrible things)

Dean is more co dependent on Sam he needs him to even continue living without Sam there is no Dean he needs to be there for every moment of Sam’s life

It’s like when he got together with that one girl after Jessica’s death he was fine with it enthusiastic even but the minute he isn’t able to witness Sam falling for a girl

He goes batshit because he needs to know everything about Sam not even just to be straight sexual this is purely toxic codependency that we’ve seen time and time again with the Winchesters

Dean needs Sam to live but he wants Sam to be happy and get out of this life But at the same time he needs to be there for Sam every step of the way

Why do you think Sam leaving for Standford left such a big impact on him

His Sam the boy he’s been raising since he was a baby, the person he feels he has to protect with his life is leaving him not just the family he is actively on his own terms leaving Dean

Dean would do anything for family but what happens when the two people you love and care about walk opposite sides of life of wants and needs at that point he can’t bare to lose another family member he needs his father to stay to fill the whole Sam left

That’s until he leaves to without a second thought

Dean overall is a fucked up emotionally incestus individual because that’s all he knows.

To sacrifice his entire being for a single persons goal for another persons life

At the ages of 4+ he was told time and time again whatever happens look after Sam his life his being is to be Sam’s protector to him knowing Sam’s sex life who he’s with is normal why wouldn’t it be

He’s been with Sam forever to protect him Love him he knows everything about Sam but he can’t let Sam stray to far from him again he can’t mentally or emotionally handle it

You know the saying some things have to fall apart in order to come together….I think shit will eventually blow up in his face and ….it’ll be up to him to grow and mature or dig himself deeper but the universe will keep sending you things until you learn whatever lesson. Would it help to remind you that writing about bad things happening does not make you a bad person, that fictional characters can't actually be assaulted or hurt in any real sense, and that You Can Do What You Want Forever?

This whole community is centered around finding the most fucked up thing to do to a character. Whatever the specific plot point you're agonizing over, I'm sure it will be enjoyed by many people who would not even dream of doing it to a real person.

I’ve mostly been worried about whether or not it’s my place to have a Black woman as a main character, especially with everything she goes through. I don’t think it’s been as much as an issue for the whump community—we love to see everyone hurting over here—but I feel like seeking publication with a general audience it might not be received as well. I worry about overstepping and potentially hurting someone with this story, and have been potentially exploring changing Dani’s race so that this isn’t an issue.

the way I’ve written this makes it sounds a lot less heavy than it has been, but it’s been something that’s been on my mind for the past year and something I’ve been trying to navigate mostly on my own. if anyone has any input, I’d greatly appreciate it, because up until now it’s been a very In My Head issue and I don’t know how to proceed with it.

talking about this has made me feel a little raw and vulnerable, so I’m going to go retreat to my little hole now. peace ✌️

last week it was going to a Prestigious Drama School and then playing the Doctor because that would be awesome.

yesterday i decided i was going to Study All The Languages and be a Language Person forever.

today i have become 100% sure that i’m going to do biology and crash (speed run, not fail) a chemistry course and become the next David Attenborough, or work in a lab and put stuff in test tubes or whatever.

YOOOOOO! I have a quick question!!

In your first part of your Y/N x Male!reader series, you mention that Reader and Y/N aren’t “end game”, when Y/N dies (I’m assuming he’s dying by Ares— the same way he dies in WMFTD) would he meet Hypnos in the afterlife and then get into a relationship with Hypnos (following the plot of WMFTD)? Or would Reader being in the mix do something to prevent this? And, if so, how would Reader react to Y/N moving on with someone else when he eventually dies, possibly after Y/N?

So the first time I talked about y/n x reader in that other ask, I had originally had an idea for a warrior!reader who fell in love with Y/N but Y/N didn’t return his feelings. 

The idea for this was to be a one shot with a bittersweet ending with Y/N following the WMFTD canon while warrior!reader who had moved on during the years still wrestle with the guilt of not being able to help with Y/N. (This goes back to one of the scrap ideas I had for Y/N, he had a platonic best friend but I could never weave him into the story. Partly because I didn’t realized how much it would grow)

But I couldn’t get it right. Then I got to writing ‘Thy Starry Crown’, just trying to see what sticks. My healer!reader found his voice. And I went and got myself a soft spot for that AU. So I gave the story over to him. 

If Y/N is with the reader then he won’t be with Hypnos. Y/n is loyal and would wait for the reader, no matter how much times had passed (I had toyed with the idea with TSC!reader x Y/N x Hypnos but I dunno if i will ever get around to trying to write that.)

For your last question, lets say for whatever reason, maybe a misunderstanding or temporary break up. Y/N does move on and fall in love with Hypnos then reunites with the reader. 

I think reader’s would be heartbroken and angry. And hating themselves for thinking Y/N would wait for them. They have mixed feelings about Hypnos, they hate him but also understand that Hypnos is the innocent party here.

Y/N would be so guilt ridden he wouldn’t know what to do. He would be torn between wanting to protect both reader and Hypnos. He still cared for reader, always would but he had moved on due to thinking reader wouldn’t want to reunite after death. 

Hypnos would just remove himself to let Y/N have the space to work out his thoughts but before going, Hypnos would speak in a very soft and broken voice ‘I will accept whatever you choose but I will not wait forever. This might be cruel but I can’t help but say it. They had their chance. I hope you choose me, I hope you chose us.’

And vanished, leaving Y/N only with a fading note of a lullaby.

i know we don’t owe people explanations but at the same time i feel like it can be easy on this site to not know what’s going on with someone else on the other side of the screen.  and that lack of information can create anxious assumptions or wrong impressions so this is just a more serious lil post with some info. 

so i have polyarthralgia (essentially arthritis).  i’ve been working with my doctors for several months to figure out my fatigue.  those w chronic illnesses know what i’m talking about.  but those who don’t,  i’m very glad you don’t.  essentially chronic fatigue is more than just being really tired.  it’s a debilitating exhaustion that can make you feel like you have the flu every day or some shit✌️i say this just because that lack of energy can make my ability to interact socially even online fluctuate.  writing is a special interest for me and it’s a stress relief.  but the ooc parts can be harder for me just like many of us!  so basically like,  please just know if i take a long time to reach out or i’m not consistent with messaging and plotting with people i don’t know as well,  it’s not a lack of interest.  

in a more recent development: since wednesday i have been having some kind of seizing/tic attacks.  i’ve joked about it but *tiktok vc* no but it’s not funny,  it’s serious isn’t it?  as;ldkjf it’s a little bit of a worrisome thing as it’s new and some of these attacks are pretty severe.  they are at least lucid episodes,  but it’s kind of nonstop.  my doctor is doing tests and will probably send me to a neurologist.  i’m sure whatever they figure out,  it will be okay.  but in the mean time i’m very much a Hot Mess™ (the way i’ve flinched a few times while writing this like my body is freestyling for real).  

ANYWHOMST people are always free to softblock or unfollow at their discretion for real like these explanations are not me saying i’m sick so you have to follow me forever as;ldkfj i just hate the idea of people thinking a lack of interaction is stemming from anything other than what it is—which is just me being exhausted and wanting to be able to plot to have some good threads but i don’t have energy yet for it so i wait to like a starter call/message.  but i do promise if you meet me halfway it will always always make a big difference and you will be met with enthusiasm and a warm welcome.  i love y’all and this place really is important to me.  if i follow you i think you’re the neatest 🖤
