If I was doing marketing for a Six of Crows movie series, my promo posters for Crooked Kingdom would say “Six Become Five” and none would feature Inej. Not because I don’t love her, but because I want to instill that fear that oh god, maybe she’s dead.

Then halfway through CK we get Inej back, and all seems well. That was a stupid tagline, people will think. Six is still six. Some might even count Kuwei as a seventh. Dumb posters, they will think.

But for some, the tagline will nag at them. And by the end, they will know what it means. They’ll all know what it means.

i love when you go on ygopro duel rooms and theirs all these “no ____” yknow the standard stuff but then theirs that one room that like closes off archtypes that arent really op like “no Raidraptors” “No Flamvell” and you just know that that person got beaten really badly and choosed to blame the archetype rather then there own skill/deck
