i thought this girl in my psych class was being weirdly anti-feminist but i realize she was trying to be transphobic to me -__-
#that was on tuesday -__- i'm so dumb#transphobia in tags#we were talking about our hw answers and i said i wanted to study if height affected happiness#as a joke to get the discussion going#and she said 'so are you trying to prove that people who are ~born male~ are nicer'#'because people who are BORN MALE are taller than other people'#...#i literally forgot people could be transphobic#so i said 'wait well i know a lotta tall women so surely that can't be all true'#(southern drawl)#and now i feel really stupid#but idk what she expected me to say anyways#because presumably an actual psych study would take demographic factors into account#the girl next to me looked really uncomfortable. i wish i'd had the brains to say something else
