Don't mind me I'm just crying over the fact that southern dialects and language is changing and dying out with each generation and it's linked to lots of things but one of the causes is that it's so stigmatized in Academia that people lose it when they go to college and try to sound more like their peers
I went to the eye doctor's yesterday and I, an adopted person, always feel like "oh no I'm failing the interaction" for some reason by not being able to relate. HOWEVER, I got praised for having common sense so it works out.
