ladies listen to me. i know you're sleepy. i know your bed is so so so comfy. i know if you move even a little bit you won't be able to go to sleep but do not skip moisturising. it's not worth the pain. you've finally got your skin to a manageable position where you don't need to drown it for it to not hurt when you smile but don't let that let you become complacent. do not skip moisturising tonight

#ameera speaks #i begin this post with ladies because im a woman and this post is for me primarily and anyone else who needs it and also idc abt men #before anyone says smth about how skincare is bad or whatever. i have dry skin and had excema as a kid #if i dont moisturise it will literally be painful for me to smile #i also have dry lips and not moisturising + not using lip balm driee them out to the point where eating becomes painful #when my skin and lips are at their worst i cant eat spicy food. im pakistani #this post isnt about a 10 step slincare routine or anything like that its about literally protecting my health #akin to posts about remembering yo take your pills #just less extreme i suppose
