yeah so novel Athy is a major asshole and Jennette is a literal angel. I don’t get why people hate Jennette when Athy is so much more deserving of hatred

But why were everyone saying and interpreting LP Jennette as a colossal bitch who's only interested in Claude,the throne and made LP Athy's life miserable?

From what I've seen on your blog,she didn't really seem all that bad?

The Lovely Princess- Side Story chapter 26/27

somehow people tried to spin it as Jennette didn’t want to rule because she was lazy, but the girl was seriously depressed when he fell into coma.

"Jennette only wants to make Athy's life miserable." As far as I can tell ❌ Wrong. Before the black magic fucked with Jennette's mind she had no such intentions and genuinely liked Athy. Examples from the main story (that I'm too lazy to quote right now) are Jennette being the only one who tried to save Athy during the tea party when everyone thought she was being attacked by a beast. If she wanted her gone she wouldn't have grabbed Athy's arm to dodge what she presumed was a deadly attack from a monster (blackie) while everyone else was busy saving their own asses. Jennette is always super happy when Athy shows her a small gesture of kindness. Like when Athy bought her a cheap bracelet she promised to wear it every day.

She wanted to defend her against countess Rosalia's insults.

The Lovely Princess chapter 12 (Ijekiel interrupts her but you can definitely tell that Jennette wanted to defend Athy and was shocked by the treatment Athy had received.)

She visited Athy alot and forced Claude to do the same. Claude and Athy having no father and daughter relationship is 100% Claude's personal failing. Jennette did nothing to sabotage their relationship, if anything she did her best to convince Claude to give Athy attention.

The Lovely Princess chapter 9

Don't get me wrong I love her but just like Jennette, side story LP Athy has some “dark” moments. For example she felt happier with a comtose Claude than an awake Claude. I feel like this needs to be addressed because what people bring up as evidence for dark Jennette (dim smile, implying Claude he owes her love because he killed her parents) feels just as creepy as what LP Athy says.

Actually, what Athy says is worse because Jennette wanted Claude to be happy and healthy and give her lots of love meanwhile Athy never wanted him to wake up again.

The Lovely Princess chapter 25

If I understand correctly the side story shows a parallel world of the Lovely Princess, but it’s safe to assume the characters act pretty much the same as in The Lovely princess with the exception that Athy jumped into the world and switched places with LP Athy sometimes + LP Lucas gets involved.
