Day 5 #fallforcostume is inside. Here is a recap of how I created the insides of the Benediction Staff from #worldofwarcraft I made the center gem hollow so that I could hide the battery pack from the sparkle lights. I then hand sketched a pattern and cut it out of insulation foam from the hardware store and sprayed expanding foam on top of that to make the curved bevel shape. I then covered everything in worbla and painted it gold. “Victory lies ahead!” In making the Benediction staff, I wanted to create the sparkly star enchantment that seems to fall from the center red gems in the game. #transformationtuesday while this isn't my character, I had to find a pic that had both the staff and the tier 3 vestments of faith 😊 my priest only ever got Benediction and not the robes! I also wanted to show that in my interpretation of Benediction, it seems like light effect enchant on the gems glow, rather than the gems themselves. For the sunwell! Should I make a cape for this cosplay? I've been eyeing the Trial of the Grand Crusader cape pattern by @cestlasara which also comes in blue (Permafrost Cape) from the Cache of Al'akir. The deep blue cape doesn't quite match the teal of t3 though. Thoughts? Have you all recovered from eating tons of food?
