For some this does not look appetizing, but it was quite delicious. Wild Mushroom Ravioli with eggplant, roasted garlic, and topped with Puttanesca sauce with shrimp. My stomach got full just typing that out. #FigoPasta allows you to build your own dish and this was a great choice for me. I could have had delicious seafood but the BBQ Duck Sandwich was a better choice. It was good vinegary NC BBQ with a sweet and spicy sauce. The onion rings were perfect, nice and crunchy. The appetizers were Oysters Rockefeller and Fried Cheese Curds and I was too full to finish my entree’. This restaurant is recommended based on the food and the view (it sits on the water where boats are docked). On Saturday, I went outside and sat in front of a restaurant watching multiple people going in and out of #TacosLaVilla. I had eaten there before and had fallen into a food coma afterward. So why not have it again. This was a half order of Carne Asada Fries. Cheese, Peppers and Onions and beautifully seasoned steak. Last time I had this meal, I added guacamole. I just kept it very basic this time. I cannot eat as much as I would like, so this half order lasted a few days. I have never been a crinkle fries fan, but they were the perfect base of this meal. LeRhaun always talked about the Carne Asada Fries in San Diego. I imagine that he would have enjoyed #TacosLaVilla. I wanted curry chicken but wanted it quickly. I have used Trader Joe’s Yellow Curry Sauce and it was tasty, but this right here is the bees knees. #SpurTree Curry Seasoning is what curry from the Jamaican spot around the corner tastes like. If you are ever in need of a quick curry, I recommend this. It was the proper amount of spice and flavor, I was elated. #latergram Shrimp and Grits like I have never had before. I have been neglecting you guys and I plan on changing that. #WillaJean is a restaurant in NOLA that serves nothing but good stuff. From the cornbread with butter and cane syrup, to the cheddar biscuits with chile peppers to the blueberry ginger bread muffins ... I can eat it all. #latergram This is a Seaside Omelette that was filled with crawfish, lump crab meat and blackened shrimp. There was cheese and a few onions and peppers to add to the flavor. The soft tasty biscuit and home fries were just cherries on top of the omelette. You guys know what I mean. Hell I was in New Orleans ... This was good but not the best I had. #latergram I finally got into Battle B's in ATL. I still had to wait in line but once I was there, I was not turning back. Hattie B's was where I had come to test the hotness of my mouth. My chicken tenders were ordered at a medium level because I wanted to ease into something hotter. Well that will not be happening because the medium heat made my eyes water. Could not even finish my tenders. The collards and baked beans were delicious. This was dinner yesterday California Love (adjusted) from @slimandhuskys ... It was husky with pesto base, spinach, artichokes, red onion, mushrooms, s&h cheese blend, topped with shrimp. The crust is thin but the toppings were fresh and tasty. It is very good pizza and something new that ATL needed. Now if they stayed open super late ... My buddy Maddie came to town yesterday and when asked where he wanted to eat he said two words: Tea Room. So that is where we went last evening. I ordered the fried chicken wings with collards and broccoli casserole. The collards come with crackling cornbread. That is in addition to basket of bread that contains yeast rolls, cornbread and cinnamon rolls.
