Happy RELEASE DAY to Swamp Ophelia released 28 years ago today (5.10.94)!! This album marked Amy and Emily’s venture into electric guitars and a more “alt rock” vibe. It took some fans time to embrace “Swampy” but the pull of Amy’s offerings (Reunion, Touch Me Fall and the haunting Fugitive) and Emily’s classics (Wood Song, Power of Two, Mystery, Least Complicated) eventually won them over. One big regret I have is not catching the Eau Clair festival when they played Swampy live in its entirety. If you are a member of Emily’s Patreon you got to see a segment of that show filmed by Cooper Carter.
