The latest Girl Genius update gave us names for the five Jägerkin on current mission abord Castle Wulfenbach. Will future polls use these names or keep the current names for consistency?

Actually, none of the Boiler Room Gang qualify for the Big Background Jägerbrawl, and for exactly this reason! We know these guys now. They're no longer "background" and haven't been for a while.

My criteria for sufficiently "background Jägers" were:

appearing on only one (or at the most two continuous) pages

maximum of one panel (or two continuous) of dialogue

not named on the comic page

(Yes, I did overthink this, thank you for noticing.)

I didn't expect to get a full page of character reference sheet for the Boiler Room Gang, but I suspected that at least some of them might get named in dialogue. And I couldn't guess which ones. So I decided not to risk it even before I had the other rules strictly defined.

Not to worry, there are still plenty of sufficiently "background Jägers" to choose from if I end up having so much fun I decide to host a Big Background Jägerbrawl 2026!
